Alex

I ran my footsteps falling silently. I didn't want to talk to Percy, to seem more helpless than I already felt. A copy, a liability. This is why I didn't want to come here. I was just a copy of Thalia, bait for Thalia, an annoyance to Thalia.

"Al!" Percy called.

Pi sped up, but of course my luck was horrible and I stepped on a twig it cracked alerting Percy that I was near him. He was running through the woods, but he didn't know I was just ahead of him.
I froze, not daring to even breathe, but I guess he saw the outline of me in the dark and ran towards me I took off again and looked for anywhere to hide. I saw a tree that I might be able to climb quickly I scaled it and hide in the coverage of the leaves and branches.
Phew looked around then glanced up and looked away. Glanced up again before turning to walk away. It was no use to run; I would end up in his cabin before the night was over. After what she said to me.... There was no way I was going back.
I jumped down from the tree, startly Percy. He had his hand on his chest trying to calm his breathing.

"Hey Perc," I laughed.

"What are you trying to do, give me an early death?" He accused.

He was trying desperately to be serious, but we both started laughing. He put his arm over my shoulders, then slowly retracted it.

"You're still damp," he stated cracking a smile.

"No really?" I sarcastically question.

Percy's crocked grin grew even wider. We went back to his cabin, not feeling like being cursed any more by Thalia's precence and I changed into some dry clothes. Why? Because Nico threw me into the lake.

FLASHBACK

"Shut up!" I said raising my vioce.

"You're such a brat." He said.

"How am I a brat?" I asked him.

"And if you even bring up the twin thing." I warned him.

"You're just mad, because I snapped at you." He replied.

"You still didn't answer my question?" I snapped.

"There are too many to list," he spat.

"You're an idiotic, infuriating jerk. Aren't you Death Breathe," I said to him.
Taunting him.

"Don't ever call me Death Breathe," he growled,"that's it."

He shadow traveled us to the lake and threw me into the water. I instantly chilled when I hit the water. I swam up just to wher I could see his feet from the water and pulled him in, swimming father into the lake before disappearing. Slightly satified that we were both soaked to the bone and cold as ice. I climbed out the lake; both of us fuming, went our seperate ways.
