Percy meet me in the woods with a over-packed bag.

"Don't think you're just a little over packed?" I questioned.

"No..." Percy trailed off.

Like he wanted to say something, but something else told him not to. Thinking back to early when I figured I'd have to keep an eagle's eye on Percy. Now -I know I'll have to watch him.

We had settled down and laughed but didn't dare light a campfire. So when we had roasted marshmallows I just cooked, but really fried them with a couple thousand watts of electricity.

"Best marshmallows ever!" Percy said with about three melting marshmallows stuffed into his mouth.

"I'm full I'm heading to sleep..." I told Percy.

"Okay sleep tight don't let the monsters bite your fade off!" He said in a sing-song voice.

I don't know what you would call what happen next, but I guess my instincts kicked in. But the simplest way to put it was that I had a gut feeling something very bad was happening.

I woke completely up and didn't hear screams of battle, as a matter of fact things were quiet. To quiet to be camping out in the woods at Camp.

I got up and went to go check on Percy but it didn't even have to stand up to know he was gone. He's sleeping back and pack was gone; I heard the snap of a branch. I didn't turn my head to that direction, but instead I cast a glance at the area instead. I caught a glimpse of the outline of a figure, most likely Percy's figure. I bolted in that direction he was surprised and didn't react very quick so I was able to gain ground.

I got smacked in the face with branches and twigs, scratched on my legs from bushes and underbrush, also on my arms by insanely thick vegation. How could someone run that fast with a huge backpack weighing them down, pure determination. So I did what any rational demigod would do in the situation and tackled the strange person figure to the ground.

"Percy!"I spoke,"what?! Why?" I asked. Tears already brimming my eyes.

"Because I can't just stay and pretend everything is alright when it isn't." He confessed,"so I'm leaving."

"Okay I'll come to," I suggested hopefully but I knew it was just a way of getting my hopes up to be crushed.

"No it's too dangerous. I'd never be able to live with myself if you came and something happened to you. And plus... I need someone here to look after Grover, Tyson, Nico, and Annabeth." He mumbled her name hoping it wouldn't register he said Annabeth.

"Fine, you'll need the ambrosia and nectar. And send post cards." I instructed him.

"I will." He said.

"And don't talk to strange people they're probably gods who will wants yu to go on a quest or something like that," I added.

"Okay mom!" Percy whined.

"Percy? One last thing..."

I took off my gold dream catcher necklace. It was the only thing left of my mother I had.

"My mom used to tell me it'd keep the monsters away... And you'll need more than I do right now." I handed to him.

He slipped off his Camp necklace and handed to me. The proceed to put on the dream catcher. He slipped off into the woods and across the boader. I packed up my stuff and headed back to my cabin. Jason lay barely awake on his bed.

"Percy feeling better?" I asked groggily.

"Yeah he's gonna be all right." I spoke aloud for the first time.
