Valentine: The Birth of the Pheonix

Scene 5 "Duplex"

{Columbus, Ohio}

The plane lands at the airport. Adan, Destiny, and Tim exit the plane looking around. Destiny sees a car pull up in front of her and stop, the car door opens as Mr. Chestnut exits the car.

Destiny Style- (Looking at Adan) "How did he get here so fast?"

Adan Valentine- (Putting sunglasses on) "He's a speed demon when driving."

Adan walks towards Mr. Chestnut.

Tim Code- (Destiny looks at him) "In other words, he likes to take it very fast when driving... even in a two-hundred thousand dollar car."

Tim begins grabbing the suitcases and packs them in the trunk of the car while Destiny and Adan lean against the car.

Destiny Style- "You never told me why we're here. (Looks at him) Care to explain?"

Adan Valentine- (Looks at her) " I will on the way there."

Adan opens the car door to let Destiny in. Inside of the car Destiny looks at her phone seeing that the same number has called her several times.

Destiny Style- (Looking at phone) "555-3281? I've never heard of you. Oh well"

She deletes the number as Adan enters the car.

Adan Valentine- (Looks at her with a questioned look on her face) "So you want to know why I brought you here, Huh?"

Destiny Style- "As a reporter, I'd like to know, yes... Yes, I would."

Mr. Chestnut and Tim sit in the front seat. Adan looks ahead as Mr. Chestnut looks in the rearview mirror and nods. Adan looks back at Destiny.

Adan Valentine- "What I tell and show you can't be reported on. Got it?"

Destiny Style- "I Understand."

The car moves down the street and pulls up next to a building labeled Miro-labs. Tim, Mr. Chestnut, Adan, and Destiny exit the car and begin walking up the steps while people in suits pass them.

Adan Valentine- (While entering the building) "So you want to know what's so important that I had to bring you out here? (Stops at a door labeled danger) Well, here we go."

Upon entering the room people dressed in lab coats walking around in worry. In the center of the room was a massive tube that reached the ceiling, inside the tube was a red and pink liquid that swirled around in an unusual pattern. Destiny looks at the tube with shock and awe on her face.

Destiny Style-"What is that?"

Adan Valentine- (A scientist hands him a tablet) "That malady is a self-magnetized metal. It can bend in any direction and it can't lose its shape once struck with force. We call it Biponieum; the newest metal on the periodic table."

Destiny Style- (Looks at Adan) "You created your own element? How?"

Adan Valentine- "Well when you have more money than the president you can kinda make your own toys."

Destiny Style- "So how does it work? Like how are you going to use it?"

Adan Valentine- "Well it was mixed with a circuit board that acts like a brain, the metal itself protects it like a shelter."

Destiny Style- "So you're saying you created..."

Adan Valentine- (Interrupts her) "Artificial Intelligence? Yes."

Destiny Style- "This is incredible."

Destiny thinks for a moment while Adan looks at Tim and winks.
