Valentine: The Birth of the Pheonix

Scene 11 "Chase of the demon"

{Second dimension}

Adan wakes up in a white room while tied to a cross, he looks around for Heartbreak then tries to wriggle out of the ropes holding him.

Heartbreak- (While walking in) "Can't get out can we?"

Adan Valentine- "What did you do to me?"

Heartbreak- "Nothing yet. Your powers don't work in the dimension mine do. Without your suit, you're nothing in the world."

Adan Valentine- "Why?"

Heartbreak- "Why what?"

Adan Valentine- "Why did you kill them?"

Heartbreak- "Why? Because I wanted to and because I could. (Walks around the room) You see the amount of power that we both have... oh, excuse me the power I have. It feels great to kill when nobody wants to challenge you. You see I run this dimension. No competition that stands against me, no race want to fight me and why might that be? Because I can kill them all with a snap of my fingers."

Adan Valentine- "That still doesn't explain why you killed my parents all of those years ago."

Heartbreak- "I killed your parents because that's how your future was born. Without me, you wouldn't exist."

Adan Valentine- "What if I didn't want this future, huh? What if I wanted my parents to live and watch me grow? (Heartbreak turns around and slowly walks away) Don't you even care about your family? Your parents? Anybody?"

Heartbreak stops in his tracks and stands there looking at the ground. He slowly turns around. In the shadow of the light, he smiled at Adan, the light on the other side of the hole in his mouth.

Heartbreak- (Slowly walking towards Adan) "You don't understand Valentine. Me, I wasn't born. I was created... by your father. (Walks over to a wall and places his hand on a lever) You see after your father was killed by me I didn't think that I would die, then I realized I was dying."

Heartbreak pulls the lever, a light flickers on than another. One after another until the room was full of light. In the room were people dressed like A.L.I.C.E. tied to crosses. Adan looks on in horror.

Adan Valentine- "They're..."

Heartbreak- "You? Yes. (Walks slowly to the other end of the room) You don't understand Valentine. I'm dying, but if I could use your blood and... and their blood and mix it with mine, well. (Stops walking and looks at Adan) Well, then I'll be immortal. Then nobody would be able to stop me and I'll be the most powerful being in the multiverse. (Opens an orange hole and walks to it) All I need is your suit then the mission is complete."

Heartbreak waves his hand at Adan then walks through the hole, it closes. Adan looks around at the others.

Adan Valentine- "So how long have you been here?"

The person just looked back and told him to stay quiet.

{The Sabo home}

Heartbreak walks into the Sabo house pulling the door off of its hinges and throws it to the floor. He enters the kitchen and looks around seeing the carnage he left behind. He smiles for a moment then walks to the living room. He looks in the living room for A.L.I.C.E. After not seeing it he clenches his fists and flips the couch.

Heartbreak- (Angrily) "No. Where could it have gone?"

Outside Cara stands next to A.L.I.C.E. with Carter in the suit.

Cara- (Shouting) "Hey Jackass?"

Heartbreak turns around and looks at her with curiosity.

Cara- "Are you looking for something?"

Heartbreak- "Give it here girl and I'll spare your life."

Cara- (Chuckles) "If you want it, come get it."

Cara raises a gun at Heartbreak and fires. The bullet hits the suit in the head. A.L.I.C.E. begins to run as Cara runs after them, Heartbreak growls and begins chasing after them with long metal claws extended from his hands. His suit began transforming, his hat turned into bullhorns and his suit began getting bigger as if it were growing muscle. Heartbreak began getting faster. Cara and A.L.I.C.E. separate and run opposite ways with Heartbreak coming to a halt. He looks both ways and steps out of his suit and tells it to get the girl. The suit turns and runs after Cara while Heartbreak opens a hole underneath himself and falls through it landing in front of A.L.I.C.E. he grabs her not seeing Carter inside.

Heartbreak- "What's the matter? Powerless without Valentine?"

Carter raises his arm as A.L.I.C.E. raises her arm at Heartbreak. Heartbreak falls to the ground while holding his now broken nose, A.L.I.C.E. runs again. Over by Cara and Heartbreak's suit, the suit runs behinds Cara and grabs the collar of her suit. Cara turns around while pulling a taser out from her pocket, she places it on the side of the suit and pulls the trigger. The suit doesn't budge. Cara continues to hit the suit only to her herself. The suit turns around sensing something wrong. Back by A.L.I.C.E., A.L.I.C.E. continues to run avoiding people in her path. She falls as Heartbreak's suit walks out from behind a corner with Cara on its shoulder. Carter sees Cara and jumps out from the suit trying to fight for Cara. The suit headbutts Carter, Carter falls to the ground. Heartbreak walks back to his suit as the suit drops Cara and picks up A.L.I.C.E. The suit opens a hole in front of them while Heartbreak picks up Carter and Cara. Cara smiles slightly as they enter the hole.
