Valentine: The Birth of the Pheonix

Scene 7 "The monster within"

 Adan opened a door and walked through it flipping on the lights. Inside was empty, a few tool boxes and tools lying on the floor along with a few greasy spots that had stained the floor black. Adan walked to the other end of the room seeing a glass container with a broken metal and shattered glass with a burned on handprint sitting in the corner. He walked up to it and looked at it. He squinted while looking inside of it, it looked like it would never end. Adan stuck his head inside seeing a maroon bed with straps where arms should be. Adan's about to bring his head out bumps the side of the container. Everything goes blurry for a second, he looks around seeing Heartbreak looking back at him. Heartbreak just stared at Adan. Adan looked at him with worry only to turn around seeing a whole line of people dressed like him all standing in a line. He looked past a few seeing an empty spot labeled Valentine. He begins looking scared.

Adan falls backward landing on top of A.L.I.C.E., A.L.I.C.E. had pulled him away from the container as a large shard of glass fell where he would've been just a few moments ago.

A.L.I.C.E.- "Are you alright Mr. Valentine?"

Adan Valentine- (Worried) "Fine. Why do you ask?"

A.L.I.C.E.- "Your heart rate spiked for a moment."

Adan Valentine- "I'm Fine. (Gets off of the ground) I... I. What just happened? (Looked at A.L.I.C.E)"

A.L.I.C.E.- "What are you talking about sir?"

Adan Valentine- (Looking confused) "I was in a room with Heartbreak and an entire line of me but with a different colored suit."

A.L.I.C.E.- "What do you mean? You were here the whole time. Unless."

Adan Valentine- "Unless the evolutionary change did work."

A.L.I.C.E.- "This calls for a celebration."

Adan Valentine- "Wait, (A.L.I.C.E. stops cheering) What powers do I have then?"

A.L.I.C.E.- (Her hand turns into wires and grabs him) "You have. Oh, my goodness."

Adan Valentine- "What?"

A.L.I.C.E.- "You might want to flameproof the house."

Adan Valentine- "I control fire? Then how did I see Heartbreak?"

A.L.I.C.E.- "You have a whole lot of powers Mr. Valentine, I could list them off but it would take hours. Maybe days."

Adan Valentine- "So I'm a Phoenix?"

A.L.I.C.E.- "With this amount of power... yes."

A.L.I.C.E. lets Adan go and looks at him, Adan begins thinking. He walks out of the room into the dining area to the front door and leaves the house with A.L.I.C.E. following close behind him. He walks down the street while looking for something.

A.L.I.C.E.- "Not to interrupt you but what are you looking for Mr. Valentine?"

Adan Valentine- (Looking around) "A street name."

A.L.I.C.E- "Which one? I can find it."

Adan Valentine- "De Marco street."

A.L.I.C.E.- "I found it. It's three blocks over to the left."

Adan looked left down the block and began running with A.L.I.C.E. behind him. He runs past people and animals and jumps over objects in his path, A.L.I.C.E. opened a hole in the ground and walked through it landing in front of Adan. Adan almost runs into her while trying to stop. He looks up and down the street, he sees a light pole with flowers tied to it halfway down the street. He runs over to it and sits there looking at a picture of his parents with a flower strapped to it. A.L.I.C.E. walks up behind him and looks at it with no feeling.

Adan Valentine- "This is where he killed them."

A.L.I.C.E.- "Who?"

Adan Valentine- "My parents. (A.L.I.C.E. gasps while placing her hand over her mouth) The story and the video show the same thing but people only suspect that it was murder, but when they never found a trace of the killer they announced it as a homicide."

A.L.I.C.E.- "Who killed them?"

Adan Valentine- "Heartbreak did. But now that I know he's not from this Earth, it's no wonder his DNA didn't match anyone in our world. (Thinks) Let's think about this what does he want the most?"

A.L.I.C.E.- "He did say something about needing you for something that he has in mind."

Adan Valentine- "Oh yeah. He needs me to be dead so I can't make him in this world. (Thinks for a second) What if meeting him here today gave me the idea to make him?"

A.L.I.C.E. begins thinking while Adan kneels down by the pole and places his hand on it again. Nothing happened this time. He looks back at A.L.I.C.E.

A.L.I.C.E.- "I can't see the future but if this is the beginning of Heartbreak then you just need to think about something else."

Adan Valentine- "Like what?"

A.L.I.C.E.- "Well for starters how about that Destiny girl? She seems pretty cute."

Adan Valentine- (Blushing) "I don't like her. (A.L.I.C.E. raised a robotic eyebrow) OK, maybe a little."

A.L.I.C.E.- "Well, did it work?"

Adan Valentine- "No. All I have in my head is Heartbreak killing my parents."

They begin walking down the street. A.L.I.C.E.'s eyes glow blue while reading the newspaper from 2003.

A.L.I.C.E.- "The paper from 2003 shows that the Valentines were murdered by an unknown man with an orange and black suit with a mask over his mouth."

Adan Valentine- "Yeah everybody knows that story, but now that we know who he is and what he's capable of doing. How do we stop him."

Adan and A.L.I.C.E. stop at a hotdog stand and get greeted by a tall thin man with shaggy brown hair that reached his ears, a goatee that reached his ears, and a pair of sunglasses. The man at the hotdog stand asked what kind of dog they wanted in a calm yet happy tone. His shirt was black with a blue devil face with massive horns and a long blood red tung.

Adan Valentine- "Two new york styled."

The man- "Coming up."

Adan and A.L.I.C.E. look around seeing a flock of birds stare at them. Adan and A.L.I.C.E. look at a store that sells T.V.'s, on the T.V.'s was Heartbreaks face looking at them. Adan looks around seeing the man behind the hotdog stand and everything had stopped moving.

Adan Valentine- "He froze time around us."

A.L.I.C.E.- "I can see that."

They turn back towards the Store with the T.V.'s only to see Heartbreak crawling sadistically out of the T.V. screens only to form into a bigger Heartbreak. Heartbreak stands up looking down at Adan. He brings his foot up and slowly lowers it, Adan stands in fear seeing a memory of Destiny smile at him. Adan breaks his glance as A.L.I.C.E. turned back into the Biponieum suit and wrapped around Adan. Heartbreak's foot lands on top of them, Heartbreak laughs. His body began shifting unevenly until his foot began being lifted off of the ground, under his foot Adan inside of A.L.I.C.E. forces the massive foot off of himself. Heartbreak tries to force his foot back down only to be thrown by Adan across the block. Heartbreak crashes into a few fire hydrants, Adan walks closer to where Heartbreak had landed. The massive figure began to stand up with the hydrant in Adan's way, when it stood up a pair of massive glowing yellow eyes looked down at Adan. Adan looked up at its eyes and fell to his knees, in his mind he sees a massive woman holding a massive sword while she watched the whole world burn. The woman looked back at Adan as she walked over to him.

Adan Valentine- (Looking up at her) "Who are you?"

The woman- (Evil tone of voice) "You'll know soon enough."

The woman brings her sword down on Adan's abdomen, Ada screams in pain as he falls to the ground. Civilians and police officers look at him as Adan lies on the ground screaming.
