Valentine: The Birth of the Pheonix

Scene 13 "The Land of Birth"

{Land of Birth}

Adan stands up while surrounded by shadows of three people, one was a woman with a bulb-headed hammer and long hair. The second was of a woman with long hair and dress on and the third was of a man with energy running up and down his body.

Adan Valentine- (Looking around) "Where am I?"

Adan continues to look around as none of the shadows said a word.

Adan Valentine- "Hello?"

Mary Valentine- (Softly) "Adan."

Adan Valentine- (Turns around seeing his mother) "Mom?"

Ron Valentine- (Smiles) "Hello my son."

Adan Valentine- (Walks closer to them) "I missed you guys."

Mary Valentine- (Hugging Adan) "I missed you to Adan, you've grown."

Adan Valentine- "I want to be with you again."

Ron Valentine- "I know but the world needs a hero right now."

Mary Valentine- "Honey listen to me. You can't be with us right now, your time isn't here. You need to go back and save your world from that man."

Adan Valentine- "I wish I could beat him, he's just too strong and I'm too weak."

Mary Valentine- "Adan my special little boy, you're stronger than him."

Adan Valentine- "He just sent me to a land that I don't even know."

Ron Valentine- "Follow us."

Mary and Ron turn around and begin walking as Adan begins to follow them. They pass birthdays with a young Adan sitting at a table all by himself with tears running down his face. Mr. Chestnut walks in with a cake and places it in front of him, young Adan pushes the cake softly then places his head on the table and cries. Next, they pass a cemetery with Mary's and Ron's tombstones in the ground. Young Adan, Mr. Chestnut, and young Tim stand in front of them with an umbrella over their heads. Adan continues walking. Mary, Ron, and Adan stop at a car accident with Mr. and Miss. Valentine's bodies inside of the car. Adan begins tearing up as his mother places her hand on his shoulder.

Mary Valentine- "Do you see this Adan? (Adan nods) This is the work of one man."

Ron Valentine- "We were on our way to a meeting in Ohio when he killed us."

Adan Valentine- "this is why I have to stay with you, He's just going to kill me then I'll truly be here."

Mary Valentine- "Listen, your time isn't now Adan. You be the boy that we always told you to be, OK? Fight for mommy and daddy."

Mary hugs him with a tear running down her face.

Mary Valentine- (Lets go of Adan) "Don't worry honey, we'll be here win or lose... we haven't crossed over yet. Not without you."

Adan Valentine- (A tear runs down his face) "Ok mom. I'll see you soon. (Looks at Ron) goodbye, dad."
