Heyy so my trip is in a little more than a month! I think I leave on the 14th of April.
I was at a meeting for it earlier, and I found out that one of the flights is gonna layover in Germany! I don't know why though, but hey, at least I get a third country in my trip!
People also said that people are gonna try and pickpocket you, and my mom is telling me not to carry my backpack that I got today around Madrid, and I'm just like:

Because I have a bunch of shit to bring with me that I'm not gonna fucking carry in my hands the entire time that I'm out, so not using the bag that's pretty much meant for the trip kinda beats the purpose of it.
I mean, I had a bag with me in Quebec City, but it was my own bag. But I still put my wallet and my phone and my hoodie in it. Did someone try to steal stuff from it? No.
Besides, how do you not realize that someone is stealing your phone from a pocket that's literally on your ass?? Like, I would notice right away if someone was stealing my shit. How do you not realize that someone is touching you and your ass?? I mean, I don't get it.
Anyways.
I can't wait for my trip. Layover in Germany, a few days in Madrid and a few days in Paris! It's super cool and I'm excited. I'm also nervous because I'm afraid of planes, but fortunately the flight there is gonna be an overnight flight.
