And the dedication goes to....@TwilaHunter! The correct answer was Gryfindor and Ravenclaw!
Percy POV.
The last thing Percy needed when he woke up was to get bombarded with questions. Unfortunately that's exactly what he got.
Percy moaned. His head felt like it was thick with sand. He tried to moved his arms but with a sharp realization, he noticed they were tethered to the metal table he was laying on. Immediately his senses picked up. His entire body felt on fire. He was shirtless. His eyes flicked to his chest, where most of the pain was. It was wrapped in gauze but he could see blood stopping through. His arms were covered in burns.
"What the Hades." Percy cursed to himself laying his feverish head back onto the cold table. "Styx."
"You're awake!" Percy heard a voice call. He looked up to see the scientist Dr. Banner, leaning over him. "What the Hell happened to you!? Do you know how many cuts and burns are on your skin? And more kept appearing before I could stitch these ones up! It's a miracle your still living! Not to mention, I still can hear, despite your high pitched screams and can move despite the number of times you kicked me in the ribs."
Percy noticed the Doctor was favoring his left side. Percy bit his lip figuring he must have kicked the man.
"Water." Percy croaked. His tongue felt like sand paper. His arms ached against the bindings on his wrists and ankles. Everything hurt. Banner began undoing the straps. "Water." Percy said a little louder. Dr. Banner looked at him as if calculating if he was going to jump up and run away if he left. After a second more Banner disappeared, appearing milliseconds later with a cup.
Percy reached up fighting the excruciating pain that spread through his body. Percy let out another moan slumping back to the table. He heard a high beeping sound coming from somewhere across the room.
Banner swore. "Your temperature is spiking again." He brought the cup to Percy's lips and helped Percy to drink it. Mid-swallow Percy started coughing. Banner pulled the cup away. Percy spit some of the water back up.
Despite only having that little sip of water Percy could feel his body slowly healing. Luckily Banner hadn't noticed, not that Percy had any energy to explain why he was suddenly burn-free and fading scars.
"What the Hades did he do to me....?" Percy muttered sorely.
Dr. Banner started talking to him appearing not to have heard. "I'm going to go tell the director. Don't do anything stupid, ok? Try not to sit up. A lot of your blood was lost." Banner's ramblings continued until Percy heard the sound of a thick metal door closing, locking all sound out.
So of course the first thing that Percy did was try to sit up. He moaned in pain but he managed to do it this time. Looking around, Percy could see he was in a white sterile room. Monitors beeped and hummed, he noticed his red coated CHB T-shirt and a couple of needles on another table. But what he was really looking for was the cup of water Dr. Banner had put on the table.
Percy focused on the water, feeling the familiar tug in his gut. The water lifted out the Styrofoam cup and flew towards him. He felt refreshed as the water poured down his back and on his chest. The wounds slowly healed to scars and some of the scars even faded. Percy peeled back part of the gauze stiffly. He didn't see blood or scar but he quickly replaced the bandage. The less they knew the better.
"Percy Jackson!" The familiar, and quite annoying voice of Nick Fury boomed as he walked in.
"Finally someone got that right!" Percy muttered. He hoped Fury hadn't seen anything out of the ordinary, such as a teenage guy manipulating water to heal his wounds that he magically got from a nightmare. He'd have a hard time explaining that.
