Percy POV.
Apparently Luke's little pocket dimension Chat had taken all night. Percy wasn't sure whether to be grateful or annoyed, so he stuck with being a completely overly exhausted teenager, who hasn't slept quite right since he's been forced to work as a terrorist.
It seemed to work pretty well.
At least, Banner bought it. Director Fury on the other hand, seemed to know something was going on. Percy wondered if all director people had that sort of instinct-- to just know when someone's plotting something.
Percy had gotten used to the feel of the CHA necklace around his neck now. On occasion, when he started to feel light headed his hand would subconsciously find it's way to the pendant. But never on any occasion did Luke ever contact him again. Percy knew he shouldn't worry about it but sometimes he would get a shiver of the idea that something had happened to him.
Even though he had made that list of To-Do's, he still hadn't gotten a chance to do the number one. Ditch the Avengers.
It seemed every hour there was always an Avenger everywhere. It was like they took Percy Watch. It made it hard to just plain find some solitude just to plan how he would escape.
Yes, Plan. Percy actually had to think this one out. Unlike all the other times he couldn't run his sword through the threat and be done with it. (Not to say he hadn't already tried). On top of all that, like a fifty pound cherry on a ice cream cone, every single time he ran into Fury, he would end up in a intense conversation about something in his tower of lies.
One of the times, he was sure his tower was going to come down on top of him.
So that gave Percy yet another thing to worry about--a dead line. It was either that or avoid Fury at all costs, which he was frankly too overwhemled to do every second of his life.
Percy looked in the mirror of his bathroom rising away blood from a towel. He whinced feeling over the new scars on his chest. If only he had some ambrosia. Maybe then this wouldn't be as painful.
Yeah Morphues had visited him last night. Percy tried to keep his mind off his nightmares. One thing you could be sure of--they invovled a lot of pain. Percy glanced into his own eyes taking deep breaths.
"Sir?" Jarvis asked. "Are you okay?"
"Yes Jarvis thanks for the concern." Percy said quickly. He quickly exited the bathroom and pulled on a different T shirt. He had picked today to implement his plan. And it started with a talk to Fury.
He walked out the door of his room, pausing only to glance out the window where sheets of rain poured down the streets. Lightning and thunder clashed, almost shaking the building. He couldn't deny that that made him feel slightly uncomfortable, considering he wasn't on Zeus's top one hundred favorite list.
He strolled into the kitchen grabbing a blue, blueberry muffin out of the plastic container on the counter. He ignored the fact that all the conversation had stopped as he walked in. Natasha, Clint and Tony were looking at him slightly paranoid, if not guilty, and Banner was quietly stirring his coffee.
Percy gave them a half wave and took a big bite of the muffin.
Lightning flashed right outside the window lighting up the entire room. Thunder was almost instantaneous.
Tony let out a weak laugh. "Sounds like Thor's back."
Everyone smiled at that. Percy had gathered a lot of info on the Avengers and beyond the fact that they were annoying, nosy, loud, and obnoxious, they were pretty cool. At least Thor sounded like he was. Thunder? Lighting? Everything Jason could do? Eh, why not?
