Chapter 24 : Close Enough

Your POV:
Where am I? I thought I went off the roof. I need to run before the flames get me. It turns out that I'm in my room. I see Evan is by me. I try to walk out without waking him up but I fell getting up. "Where are you going?" He asked. Shit. "I'm going to look for the flames before they find me." I wasn't lying. I was going to find the leader and end it before they find me. "Your not going by yourself. We are going with you." Jonathan said walking in. I just look at the ground at nod my head. We started to head out.

Ryan's POV:
Why did she want to fight the flames by herself? Something seems off about her and I don't know what. We all got into a car and went to where the flames hideout was. We noticed that everything seems different. It seems like nothing happened here. "They aren't here." Angel said. Everyone looked at her. "How do you know that?" Jon asked. "They told me where they are going to be." Now that's just weird. How did they manage to talk to her if she's been with us this entire time? Wait. Her phone. "Can I see your phone?" I asked. She just nodded and passed me her phone. Sure enough there's an address. "Guys. She wasn't kidding. They have been telling her where to go. Their new base is at 345 Walker st." I tell the guys and they race off to find the place.

We make it to the place and Angel just runs out. Everyone looks at me then at the door she disappeared from. I have to find her I guess. I make my way towards the door. Everyone follows as we go inside. I see Angel in the middle of the room not doing anything. "Let's go before you get hurt." Mini said. No answer. She turns around then looks over towards the corner. We turn around and see someone come towards us and we take them out. She then falls to the ground and we all run up to her. "Watch out. Behind you." She said. We looked and saw two guys coming towards us but Jon toke them out.

Your POV:
The guys came towards me but once they got close someone pulled me back. "One step closer and she dies." The person said. I look behind me and see James. He was the one who drugged me and cut me. I turn back around and see Tyler looking at me. I close my eyes and look down. I open my eyes and turn around. I show James my face and he backs up. Why is he running? "Stay away from me. I thought you didn't change from the last time I saw you. He said. I turned back towards Evan and fell on my knees. I got shot. "Meh. Close enough." "Liam." I said. I saw everyone coming towards me before I blacked out.
