The Ark tore up the road, slicing through the ground. When the spacecraft stopped, Malekith exited, and stared up at the Convergence that began its alignment in the sky above. Thor dropped from the sky and landed before Malekith. He put Jamie down and they readied themselves for battle.
(A/N Jamie is still in her clothes she changed into from the armor, but with a sword and shield.)
"You needn't have come so far, Asgardian. Death would've come to you soon enough," Malekith stated.
"Not by your hand," Thor responded.
"Your universe was never meant to be. Your world and your family will be extinguished! And I will do so with the last amount of the Aether," Malekith remarked, pointing to Jamie at the end.
"Try and get it then, bastard," Jamie challenged.
Malekith released the power of the Aether onto both of them. Thor fell back, but Jamie remained untouched and began the fight.
Meanwhile, Erik and Jane were trying to get ready. Jane adjusted controls on her equipment to turn it on.
"We're running out of time," Erik said.
"Almost there," Jane stated.
"Are you sure this is going to work? These devices were made to detect anomolies, not cause them," Erik pointed out.
Jane got it working then replied, "Oh, come on."
Thor gets to his feet as Malekith sends another Aether blast his way. Again Thor is flung back. But Jamie wasn't affected at all.
"Are you trying to get your ass beat?" Jamie asked with a slight smirk.
"I swear, you're turning out to be more like Loki," Thor commented.
"And what's wrong with that?" she wondered innocently until she was punched in the face.
"Who's getting beat now?" Thor smirked.
She rolled her eyes and they went back to the battle.
Jane and Erik looked out the window until she ran to a new location.
"Come on Darcy!" she urged.
As Malekith prepared another blast of Aether, Thor braced himself against it.
"You know, with all that power, I thought you'd hit harder," Thor commented.
"Which means you haven't hit me hard enough," Jamie smirked.
Malekith surrounded himself with the Aether until Thor threw Mjölnir at him, sending Malekith flying backwards through the Dark Elves standing behind him, and crashing through concrete pillars and into a vehicle. Jamie threw a dagger with a little of the Aether from her in it and got Malekith in the shoulder, making him weak. They both advanced.
