Jean x Marco
Jean knocked on the door to Marco's home. He was holding a bouquet of cheesy, cliche carnations and roses. He had finally asked the freckled cutie out on an official date yesterday. He had been pushed by Armin to ask his boyfriend of a few months on a real date.
Jean honestly didn't know why he was so nervous. He'd known Marco for most of his life. So why were his hands shaking?
Marco opened the door with a laugh. "You dork." He grabbed the flowers, grinning and pulling Jean inside. "When you asked me on a date I thought you were kidding!"
"Um, no." Jean rubbed his wrist awkwardly. "Sorry to disappoint." Jean bit his lip. Marco glanced down at his lips briefly.
"Are you kidding me, Jean? I was ecstatic. I still am." Marco took the flowers to the kitchen, Jean following behind him like a lost puppy. He filled a glass with water and set the flowers in it on the counter.
"Shouldn't you be 'ecstatic' with me anyways?" Jean remarked sarcastically.
Marco punched him in the shoulder lightly. "Of course I am you weenie. It's just, going on actual dates... doesn't seem to be your thing."
"It's not." Jean said honestly. "But. you looked sad when we watched that one movie... Fifty First Dates or something like that."
Marco laughed. Jean was such a goofball. A really hot one. "Because it was a sad movie."
Marco and Jean went back to the living room and sat on the old leather couch.
"Oh. I didn't notice." Jean had been staring at his boyfriend for half the movie. The other half, he had fallen asleep.
Marco rolled his eyes and kissed Jean's jaw. "I know that the others made you do this." Jean's eyes widened. "And honestly, cliche dates aren't my thing either. We can have a stay at home date though."
"Bu--"
"No buts. I'd rather be all cuddly and crap than have to behave and be heterosexual in public." Marco didn't really know how to put it in words.
He loved cuddling with Jean. He loved making out and talking about stuff. He loved falling asleep on him. He loved trying to watch cheesy movies. It was one of the many things Marco loved about Jean.
He was okay with the mushy stay-at-home things.
Jean sighed in relief. "Thank God. I brought Chinese and pizza. It's in the car, still hot."
Marco grinned. "We can drink wine and watch stupid stuff."
"Or make out." Jean raised his eyebrows suggestively. Marco giggled.
"Food first."
