There are a variety of love stories, all ranging from utterly sappy to gritty and grim. But the one thing they all have in common? The aim to convey the butterfly inducing, heart palpitating feeling that burrows deep into your chest. That feeling that is both unbearable and wonderful at the same time. My story, though lacking the sap and mush, is one of these. It's not perfect—no, but it's special. It's real. And I wouldn't have asked for it to have gone any other way.
(A/N: Trigger warning: self harm is mentioned and feelings of depression occur. Please be wary if any of these are a trigger!)
