It's Ashton's first day of "therapy". It's not exactly therapy because apparently the way this guy goes about helping his patients is very unconventional--which is honestly what Ashton needs. I'm proud of him for making the decision I that I never could.
Luke and I lay here in his bed even though it's twelve o'clock. Luke's mood is a lot happier today now knowing Ashton has a chance at getting better. He takes my hand in his and twirls around the ring on my middle finger.
"Let's just tell them." He says.
"Huh?"
"Ash and Cal...about us..."
"Oh. But Ashton hasn't even gone to therapy yet." I say.
"I just feel like we have a good opportunity now. It's not going to affect them anyway. What, do you think he'll flip out or something?"
I sigh. "No it's just...are you sure you're ready? And do you plan on telling your parents...?"
"Er, not my parents...not yet." He says biting at his lip ring.
"Okay. How do you plan on telling them exactly why you're dating me a guy."
"Cliffordsexual, remember?"
I laugh. "Okay, Luke. That's a really valid answer."
"You're hot. They'll understand." He gives me a cheeky smile.

I can't believe we're about to do this. I'm actually freaking out. What if they think it's weird? They know I'm bisexual, but...is it bad that I'm dating Luke? Like, will they think dating within the band is a bad idea?
"Michael." Luke snaps his fingers in front of my face. "Come on, I'm not doing this alone." He says, and tugs my hand.
"I'm scared." I say, giving him puppy dog eyes.
"Hey, at least you don't have to say we're dating and come out."
"Is it really coming out if you're not gay or bisexual...?"
"Yes. And I think I'm bisexual."
"Excuse me?" I fake being surprised, putting my hand over my heart. "And who are the other guys that have caught your eye?" I cross my arms in a sassy manner.
"Zac Efron, Billie Joe, Jack Barakat, Will Smith...the list just goes on."
"Wait, do you really think Jack is hot?"
"Jealous?" He smirks.
"No!" I say. "I-I was just wondering."
"Maybe." He says, then glances over at me and smiles. "Of course I do. But you're the only one for me babe, don't worry."
"Really reassuring, thanks." I say sarcastically. We finally meet Calum and Ashton at this restaurant we used to go to all the time. It's nice because the tables are pretty private, some sectioned off walls near them.
"Hey." Ashton smiles. He looks pretty weak still, but so much better. He's wearing a flannel so the sleeves cover his arms.
"Hi." Luke smiles and sits down next to Calum. I sit down next to Ashton and across from Luke.
We order our drinks and appetizers before we decide to break the news. "Uh, listen, we have an...announcement." Luke says nervously.
"Oh no, are you pregnant?" Calum jokes.
"Shut up." Luke says, even though he's smiling. "No--I...uh...michaelandImayormaynotbedating." He says quickly and very incomprehensibly.
"What?" Calum tilts his head.
