*time skips to the day of six flags white water*

sadie, millie, and i sit in the duffer's car that they loaned us for the day, in our bathing suits, covered up with t-shirts. paige is driving, sadie and millie are sitting in the back, and i'm in the pop-up seats in the trunk.

"have you guys ever been here?" paige asks as we get closer to the park.

"nope," i answer. millie pipes up with a yes, along with sadie. apparently the two girls and paige came here last year during filming.

"do you remember when you go stuck on the wahoo racer?" sadie laughs. millie's face turns red.

"oh my god, i do!"

i lean back against the seat, zoning out the girls in front of me.

after paige gets our tickets and gets us into the park, we find four seats near the bucaneer bay and drop our stuff off. i leave my phone in the bottom of paige's pool back, which stays under a towel under our seat. "where to first?" she asks.

"the run away river is closest," i suggest. we kick off our shoes and peel off our t-shirts, leaving us just in bathing suits. millie removes her sunglasses, tying up her hair in a ponytail.

"ready?"

on our way to the slide, the girls start talking. "i can't wait to get on the wahoo racer again and relive millie getting stuck," sadie laughs as millie rolls her eyes, laughing though.

"how do you get stuck on a waterslide millie?!" i ask, chuckling.

"no, the mat wouldn't go once they said start!" she defends herself in that adorable british accent of hers.

we continue to laugh and talk on our way up to the slide, earning a few looks from passerby's, but i don't care. we finally reach the top of the stairs- god i hate water park stairs- and move up to the raft. it's one of those family sized rafts, so our whole group climbs in together. paige sits next to sadie, with millie on the the side of sadie, and me in between millie and paige. i recall the conversation that i had with caleb before i left today.

"dude, you have to sit next to her on all the rides!" gaten exclaims.

"but what if she wants to sit next to sadie or something?"

"let her then, but sit on the other side. trust me on this," caleb calmly explains, basically the opposite of gaten.

the lifeguard tells us to have fun, then pushes the yellow and blue raft down the tube. as soon as we enter, the light disappears.

"oh my god," i hear millie whisper. i can feel her get closer to me. that feels good, her coming to me instead of her own sister. not even seconds later, the raft plunges down. sadie and millie shriek, and i can feel my stomach drop. as soon as it starts to go down, millie's hand grabs mine, holding it tight. the drop ends soon, and she right up next to me. thank god this tunnel is black and nobody can see us.

wait. i spoke too soon.

the tunnel opens up into the light, illuminating millie and i. the last thing i see before we go back into the dark is paige and sadie grinning. they whisper something, and then sadie shouts, "couple goals!"
