Turns out it did bruise. I have a blueish looking bump on the left side of my face and it still stings if I touch it.

I thought about covering it up with some makeup but decided against it. It would just look unnatural. Injuries are a normal thing in life. Right? I just don't want to be embarrassed.

I was thinking about going all out, but to be honnest I'm not exactly looking forward to tonight as much as I thought I would. I've been waiting 16 years of my life for this moment and now that it is here, it just seems boring. It's just dinner with some people...Right?

WRONG! Turns out I totally fell for Kieth and now even though nothing is happening between us, I feel guilty about going out with Even. Wierd I know. I swear I have severe guilt issues.

So currently I'm stuck at Katies' house getting ready. She is going all out wearing heels with jeans and I just put a nice shirt on and kept my hair down for once.

"Aren't you way excited for tonight?" Katie asked me as she tried to do a perfect eyeliner job for the 3rd time.

"Yeah, I guess."

"You are gonna have so much fun!" She replied not caring about my uncertanty. " I remember my first date..." She went on as I checked my watch. The guys are allready 15 min. Late.

It is probably a good thing though. I bet katie is going to change her outfit at least two more times.

It is ten minutes later and only Evan is here. He was supposed to pick up Katies date, but he got lost and gave up. So now Katies date is almost here and I just want to go home.

Katie is laughing too loud and overreacting to everything. Her left eyeliner is thicker than the right, but I'm not going to tell her and I hope Evan won't eaither. He got here just in time for katie to tell him that she needed his opinion about it and he was a little too honnest.

So now that she has tried again I just want him to say it looks fine. So I was making faces behind her head trying to let him know that right as Keith walked in the door saying "Hey, your Mom said to just come up here. I'm..." And then he stopped.

I was behind Katie, but that didn't stop him from stopping where he was to stare at me. I'm guessing he saw my bruise because his cheeks flushed a little. I couldn't make fun of him though, I probably was to.

"OH HI!" Katie said standing up. Of course she had to interrupt our momment that wasn't a real momment...I don't know what it was, I was just upset.

Kieth isn't a wierd name is it...or did I hear it wrong. I dought it though. I have been hanging on his words and daydreaming of his eyes all day. Which by the way, are still soft brown and calm even though he is in shock.

Is that what I looked like? I thought to myslef, but my thought was cut off by Katie still being loud.

"I'm Katie and this is my friend Nicole and her date, Evan." I offered a little wave, but I guess I was in shock too, because I didn't add anything. "You must be my date."

He then got knocked out of a trance, and looked at Katie. "Great. I'm Keithen, but just call me Keith." Now the name thing made sence. "Are you guys ready to go? I can drive."

Out of all the awkwardness that has happened today, now he seems totally calm just like his eyes. I guess eyes really are the windows to the soul.
