"Martinus can you please put your phone down for even one second?" I sigh.

Me, Marcus, Martinus and Emma are outside playing and having fun, but Martinus keeps checking his phone every five seconds.

"Yea, sorry." He says and puts it to his pocket. I give him a small smile and go back to what I was doing. I'm building a snowman with Emma and Marcus.

Finally Martinus decides to join us too and starts making a head to the snowman.

"Okay guys I think we can put the head up now." Marcus says. Me Martinus and Marcus carefully pick up the head and put it to its place.

"It needs a nose!" Emma says. I make one out of snow since we don't have any carrots here and put it on.

"It looks like you Marcus." Martinus says. Marcus throws some snow at him and that begins their snow fight. Me and Emma somehow get involved in it too and before I know it all four of us are all covered in snow.

"Can we go now? I have somewhere to be." Martinus says when he gets up from the ground.

"Where are you going?" Marcus asks. Martinus gives him a 'shut up' look. I look at both of them confused.

"Where are you going Martinus?" I ask too.

"To a friend's house." He says and goes inside. I look at Marcus who shrugs his shoulders.

"Marcus I know you know something that I don't!" I say and look at him. His eyes get wide and he quickly runs inside leaving me out with Emma.

"Where is Martinus going?" Emma asks.

"I wish I knew." I sigh and go inside with her.

I watch Martinus putting on his shoes and coat and leaving the house. As soon as the door closes I turn to Marcus.

"Tell me, where is he actually going?" I say pointing at him.

"What do you mean?" Marcus says trying to sound cool but fails.

"I know he's not going to a friend. I can tell when you guys are lying." I say.

"Okay but I still won't tell you." Marcus says and quickly runs upstairs to his room. I try to go after him but he locks the door. What can be so bad he can't tell me?

I have been sitting in my room for a few hours just watching Netflix and everything. Martinus isn't home yet and it's already late.

Of course I trust him, but why can't he tell me where he's going?

I close the laptop and turn off the lights. I'm too tired to take off my clothes, I can do that in the morning too.
