Every day I have been going about my day as normally as I can. Trying to keep myself busy so I don't start missing Hiccup. I have been doing things like going for walks, helping out Stoic and all the other villagers, but more importantly I got the all so important job of translator. When ever a human and dragon isn't seeing eye to eye it's my job to translate so that they do. It's a really neat job. I have a lot of work to do though but I feel like I'm giving everyone the ability to trust one another one issue at a time. It gives me some purpose while Hiccup is away. I will continue after he comes back of course. I was finishing up a problem with a dragon ignoring their human when I heard some loud noises from outside. I walked out the door of the house of the human with the dragon problems lived.
"HICCUPS BACK!" "YEAH HICCUP!" "WELCOME BACK HICCUP!"
'Hiccups back?' I ran to the large crowd of people and flying reptiles were gathering. I pushed through everyone until I finally reached the middle. Tears began to form in my eyes as I saw Hiccup hop off his temporary dragon.
"HICCUP!" I called out while I ran into his arms with tears flowing down my cheeks. "I missed you so much."
"I missed you too." Hiccup said with his voice beginning to crack. Hiccup gently grabbed my cheek in his hands and lifted my face so our eyes could meet. Small tears began to form in his green eyes.
"I'm so glad you aren't mad at me for leaving you." Hiccup sniffled as he gently kissed the top of my forehead. I stiffened up from shock but I soon relaxed. Everyone awed. I turned around and gave everyone my famous night fury death glare and everyone dispersed.
"Anyways..." Hiccup said trying to get rid of the awkwardness. "Look at what I got you." Hiccup pulled out a small simple yet beautiful stone out of his pocket.
"Is that..."
"Yep. Now you can go back to being a dragon again."
"But I don't know if I want to go back to being a dragon again. I like being able to talk with you but I also want to be able to fly with you again."
Hiccup gave me a smile then grabbed my hand and led me to Gobbers forge.
"It's a good thing I still know how to work this." Hiccup turned around to face me. "Stay here." Hiccup gently pushed me down on a nearby boulder.

~time skip~

Hiccup came out of the forge with his face covered in black grease and his hands behind his back. I stood up as he was walking towards me. We were now face to face gazing into each other's green eyes. He took his out from behind his back to revile that he had turned the stone into a beautiful necklace.
"It's beautiful." I gasped while covering my mouth with my hands.
"Now you can turn back into a dragon or a human whenever you want."
I turned around and Hiccup put the necklace around my neck. I turned back around while fiddling with the stone necklace. Hiccup grabbed my chin and lifted my head so I would be looking directly into his eyes. I could feel my cheeks burning up.
"I love you Toothless." Hiccup softly spoke breaking the silence between us.
"I love you too Hiccup. I always have."
We both learn towards each other until both of our lips meet. The kiss then began to grow deeper and more passionate. Sadly we had to pull apart for air.
"Let's go home." Hiccup gave me a smile and intertwined his hand into my mine as we both strolled back home.
