We were all dressed and out the house except for Cris. She's always, always the last one outside. She showered first and everything yet still she is always the last one out. Which is surprisingly ironic because she's always the first one to do something, just always the last when it comes to getting ready. We were all annoyed and the sun was hot as hell. Julio turned the car on and blasted the AC. After 10 minutes we finally see Crystal walking out and closing up the house behind her. "Nigga you always take forever." Shane was the first to attack her. "Better watch that mouth before I spank yo ass right here in front of our best friends." Cris retorted with a smirk on her face. "Oooooooooooooooooooh daddy gon beat you Shane?" Julio mocked her and I was dying, at least we were off to a good start.
We stopped at BK to get some breakfast since it was still before 10 AM. We stayed there for an hour because I eat slow as hell and my food needs to digest properly you feel me?
We went to Halfway Tree to go shopping in the plazas. The tattoo parlor is in a mall closer to the transportation center but I wasn't ready for that as yet. We stopped in a shoe store because Shane loved shoes, it was a hobby for her to collect shoes and she always boasted about ordering shoes online direct from the Nike store because she can't get real shit out here. We always had an argument about that because she needs to stop talking shit. Cris stopped at her local natural store, she was all about that natural weird shit but at least I got coconut oil and jojoba oil for my hair and Julio got moisturizer for her face.
"It's time to pick up my meds." Cris said to us while we were walking out of the store. We all decided it was too far of a walk so we got in the car and Julio drove us to the pharmacy. We waited for thirty minutes to collect her meds. It was heavy and majority of it was bottles of nebulizer medicine or whatever they call that shit.
We stopped to get some food but instead Cris made us all get natural smoothies because "it was too early to eat again." We all groaned and agreed to get smoothies. We walked over to the Mall where Shaun, Julio's tattoo guy was to get started with the surprise. Shane knew about it so I'm really hoping she didn't spill.
"Guys, why are we going into a tattoo shop?" No one answered her we just kept on walking.
"Julio, the gyal them stoolio" Shaun shouted as soon as we stepped through the doors. "Omg you know I hate that because I don't understand what the fuck "stoolio" is" Julio dapped him up. "Shane the gyal them main" Shaun said. "Shaun the gyal them storm." Shane counteracted. "Yessir, you know that's me. How may I be of assistance today? Julio you finally ready to get that piece colored in?" "Naah," Julio said. "Ah, still a bitch I see." Shane and Shaun laughed like it was the end of the world. Must be some inside joke. "Who's this cute thing?" Shaun asked while staring at me. "That's my girl, Jay" Julio answered. "I'm not used to seeing you with another stud but this catty here I can get used to. She nice man. She and her friend weh nuh stop mean mug the whole a we since she step in." We all turned around to see a frowning Crystal. She hates not being the center of attention and she hates not being apart of the gimmicks.
"My name is Cris, rhyme my name with something." She demanded from Shaun. "Cris?" Shaun asked. "Yup, get to it Shaunie boy." "Ahh, how bout Cris the gyal them national dish?" Cris stood silent for at least five minutes, "okay I like it, well done bruv." "Good, now we can start talking about the tattoo we had in mind" I said so everyone could pay attention to the real reason why we were here. I asked Julio to bring up the image on her phone to show Cris to see if she would like it.

"I love it, who's getting it?" Cris asked. "You are hun," Shane grabbed her face and pulled her in for a kiss. "It's for everything you've been through, when I saw it you were the first person that came to mind. I love you." Cris kissed her and we all stood watching the public affection. If I didn't know any better I would say that she wasn't crying but I know that she's doing everything to keep those tears from falling.
"Great! Let's get to work shall we. Onward to my office." Shaun shouted out.
I watched Cris walk behind him with her head high probably mentally preparing herself for the unexpected pain.
"Do you think a nose piercing would fit me?" Shane asked us. Julio and I looked at each other then stared at Shane's nose. "Guys, that's kinda uncomfortable so never mind." "Yes!" We shouted in unison and watched Shane smile her cute ass smile.
"Tanyaaaa, hey baabaayyy can I get my nose pierced?" Shane shouted to the piercer which was the owner of the shop.
She left towards the back of the room and then the tattoo machine started and I could hear the buzzing and I was wondering how Cris was doing.
"She'll be fine, she's a strong kid." Julio whispered in my ears as we sat in the lounge area together. "Are you ok?" She asked me. "Yeah I'm good. You?" "Yeaaaaaah, I'm just hungry as fuck babe. Damn why'd I allowed Cris to talk me into buying a smoothie for lunch? Damn that nigga." "Come on, it ain't that bad I actually feel energized." "I actually feel energized" she mocked me. "Square up because we bout to fight." I lifted my fists and waved them in her face and she laughed at me. "Aw hell naw, you laughing punk ass? I need a fade looking ass nigga!" "Ooooooooo get em!" Julio laughed and took my fists in her hands and brought them to her lips while staring into my eyes. "I love you babe and I appreciate you doing this for Cris." "Love you too punk." I kissed her forehead and smiled.
Thirty minutes later, Cris walked out holding her hand out and Shane walked up with a new piercing. "That's cute babe" Cris said to Shane while pinching her jaws. "That's dope as fuck ma" Shane held out Cris' arm so that we could all get a good look and it was neatly done.
Well this was a day well spent, if I do say so myself.
"Jaydenna come on, we gotta get some food and head back home remember you got homework." Julio said. Here I was thinking this day was gonna end with everyone smiling, now everyone but me will be unbothered.
"Daddy speaks, Jay listens," Shane cooed at me. "Shut up before I spank yo sexy ass." "Rawr" "Stupid ass," I said while laughing and walking out. Maybe the day might just end well after all.
