Shota had fallen asleep in his chair on the bus leaving her alone to deal with the chatter of class 1-A. She envied him and his ability to sleep, he could probably do it on cue too. The chatter inside the bus was soon to become the heated shouts of Bakugo, and by then Kyoura reckoned she could tolerate Hizashi's shouting more so.
"Can you please be quiet for like, one minute?" she deadpanned, sending a glare to the student in question. How could Shota even sleep under these conditions. He was so talented.
"Shut up! What are you gonna do about it?!" He retaliated and Kyoura could almost see heat issue from his palms, but she knew it was an empty threat.
"I may not have Aizawa's quirk but that doesn't mean I can't silence you or it either." She drew her sword, thankful she still even had it after all that time.
The smiles and laughter of the situation vanished at the sound of clean metal, light reflecting in the blade. All of the students looked at her with wide eyes and she listened as a few of them gulped down their fear. With silence raining terror over the bus she tucked it away in its sheath, and released a pleasure filled sigh.
"Ms Majime," the familiar squeak of Midoriya spoke up.
"Yes?" She turned around to face him with a smile, although she doubted whether they would have thought it genuine.
"You said you weren't a hero, but I'm pretty sure I've seen that sword before on the news." He rested a finger on his chin and his mouth moved with mutters she had had enough of by the time the third word left his lips.
"That's quite enough, and yes you would have seen it before." She nodded. "Let me guess, international news?" He nodded. "There's a lot of controversy about it, but I know the creator. In fact, this was their first masterpiece."
Kyoura would have elaborated but the sudden stop of the bus, wind no longer keeping her hair out of her face slapping her in the eyes. They had arrived and Shota had woke from his slumber, she didn't even notice him removing the sleeping bag as she was too busy spitting hair out of her face. However unrefined. They disembarked and they were all welcomed by a familiar face.
The space hero, Thirteen.
Kyoura had never officially met her before and though for that reason it was out of her control, she didn't want to meet her that much herself anyway. Thirteen had a dangerous quirk and not only that she miraculously figured out a way to use it to save and help others. She was a rescue hero.
"Another, rescue hero..." Kyoura muttered to herself moving herself off to the side and picked at her gloved hands.
"It was her choice you know," Shota scolded her, giving her a light push on the shoulder.
"Good on her then," she grumbled.
Shota slid his hand down from her shoulder towards the middle of her back, giving it a little rub he then pushed her forward as 1-A and Thirteen had already started to make their way inside. Throwing her old friend a glare she then followed after him, readjusting the cuffs of her sleeves. Thirteen was already half way through her introduction and Kyoura took it upon herself to take a look at the place.
The different biomes and artificial disaster scenarios had always been impressive and she wondered where the funding for all of it came from. Even so, something continued to gnaw on the back of her mind, it was the same feeling she had received when the school was attacked by the press, the same sense of foreboding wafting from the teacher's staff room.
As she turned her head back round to face most of the students, Kyoura caught a glimpse of Shota settling himself up for a nap against a pillar but when their eyes locked he stopped getting comfortable and instead stood upright. He never stood with good posture, well it was a rare situation anyway. With a single look from him she was compelled to go stand by him, he wanted to talk to her that was for sure. Thirteen was handling the students exceptionally well, they were strangely well behaved, and that wasn't to mention that All Might was still not present.
