Her head throbbed and some other force was rocking her back and forth, like being washed over and dragged back in by the waves of the ocean. For the most part, she would have wanted nothing more than to enjoy the water's coolness on her skin, have it wash away all the blood and all the pain. Never had the notion of drowning ever been so comforting.

"Sensei! Sensei, get up!" It was a girls voice, it echoed through the waters bringing desperation, like salt, to Kyoura's wounds. Yet, she had never retained an injury of her own in her life.

"Sensei! We need you!"

Her body snapped upright, the suddenness of her movement making her brain and eyes gloss over for a second, she could have vomited. Instead a coughing fit took over her body, and struggling to open her eyes she found herself face to facade with a pair of brown ones. For a while thats all she could see, but soon her vision expanded and her surroundings came into view.

Her sword lied inches to her left, another sheath belonging to another blade pressing up against her ribs. Thirteen lay on the ground unmoving, she was surrounded by students and her back- HER BACK!!! Without waiting for her student's response Kyoura stumbled to her feet, but the next thing she saw wouldn't keep her standing much longer.

There was a resounding thud and a crack that echoed up to the entrance, it was like the ground had been split and a bone had been snapped in two. Her eyes had locked onto him the moment she had stood up, there was blood pooling on the ground around him.

"Shota!"

Her cry went unheard in the wind, and thankfully for it would have caught the attention of the villains. The purple smoke one had returned to the main courtyard, next to the hand man and the brain bird had him, Shota, her Shouta smashed into the ground. Yet, that wasn't the least of her worries.

"What is he doing?" she hissed, sucking in ample breath as one of her students, Midoriya had engaged the villain.

What happened next she didn't see, the blast of air from whatever impact had sent dust flying in her direction and she was forced to protect her eyes. She had already reached for the second blade, her first gripped tightly in her shaking, gloved hands.

"Kids!"

Smoke had gathered about the entrance, and  once again she was blinded, paused before she could take any action. She needed to see where she was going after all. Several students were missing, unaccounted for. There were three, last she saw, directly in danger and. Then there was Shota. All of them needed saving, but she wasn't the kind of hero for that type of saving.

She wasn't a hero at all.

"It's okay now," his lie was all she needed to hear. "Because I am here!" Turning to face the symbol of peaches she expected he would request her assistance, or knowledge on the matter but for the first time since she had known him, he wasn't smiling in the face for danger, and he wasn't at all in the mood for talking. "Bring him back, Kyoura."

It was the last thing he said to her before he vanished from sight, only to reappear in the courtyard amidst groups of unconscious villains. He was already limp in his arms. Thirteen was beyond Kyoura's capabilities and if they wanted this fight to be easier they needed to remove quirks from the table.

"Sensei? Where are you going?" She didn't know which of the students had asked, but she didn't have time to give them a proper answer. Instead she thrust out her first sword for the nearest student to grab.

"I'm needed down there, use this." No part of her right mind thought that leaving the student's alone was a good idea, but how else what she going to get down to where she was needed.
