When Tobias returned with the baby supplies, the quads were driving Brenda over the edge. She had fed them with baby formula that the hospital had given her, but she was still tired from their crying and from giving birth. Brenda took three more bears from the bag Tobias had brought, and gave one to each of their daughters. Uriah was hugging/suffocating the one he had grabbed from Johanna. "Better?" Tobias asked. "Much better," Brenda replied. Satisfied, she fell asleep.
