Instead, he was just looking for Tris. He would always love Tris. "What is your name?" Tobias asked. "Brenda," the girl responded. "Okay, Brenda, are you with the Erudite? Do you work for Jeanine?" "No," Brenda answered. "Here, we don't have factions. The Erudite don't exist. And Jeanine, she's not real." And for as long as I could remember, neither were you, Brenda thought. "Where's Tris? Where's my girlfriend?" asked Tobias. "We had just watched the Edith Prior video, and then I appeared here. Is she here, too?" Oh, Veronica Roth, though Brenda. He doesn't know.
