chapter 13

we all sat at the crowded table. it was a bit uncomfortable having 2 new people with us but we figured we could get used toit for the time being.

"hello! i'm aera. i am new and i'm in jisungs class. i would like to be your friend! all of you." she said while smiling and bowing to us.

"you look a lot like eunah. it's weird." chan said giving her a weird face. i knew he knew something was up but he'd rather keep it for later.

the boys and i felt a vibration in our pockets and on the table so we all grabbed our phones looking at one another before opening our phone.

chanbangbang: somethings weird about her. meet later @ eunahs house - after school. no ifs, ands, or buts. okay?
seungminnie: okay
jeong1n: hyung, are you serious? there's nothing fishy.
strawberrymilkkeunah: i agree. something is fishy.
hyunjinraps: okay, i'll bring the snacks for our gossip session.
chantrashbinsss: i got nothing to do later so... okay!
woojinah: she's weird.
felixxl33: i'm not in the cafeteria rn... so idk what you guys are talking about - fill me in during our meeting?
minhoe: we got you felix. um, jisung... why aren't you replying?
jisunggggg: i was about to but you guys kept chatting not allowing me to. i'm down, but i think she's normal. nothing wrong with her guys.

i put my phone away and signaled for them to do so as well. we had 2 other guests at the table and we were completely ignoring them.

"so... aera, tell us more about yourself. what made you come here?" chan asked makig all of us widen our eyes.

"i-i uh.. you see... my grandpa, i live with him and recently he became sick. so we moved to seoul for better hospitals and t-treatment." that's the same thing that happened to me besides the moving part. the boys and i looked at each other weirdly. she said as she kept her eyes on jina. something was fishy but i couldn't put a finger on it.

jina again clinged onto me my whole way home until i kissed her goodbye and watched her umtil she got out of sight. not that i want to do it - she makes me.

the boys were already upstairs in my room so when i walked in they all came at me and cringed at the kiss scene.

"okay, what's up chan?" jisung asked pretty annoyed. his tone and his facial expression was annoyed. we filled felix in before we started talking big time.

"she just seems weird. how does she all of a suddenly look like eunah? and have the same problems eunah does? i mean it's weird don't you guys think?" chan stated while the rest of us nodded.

"also, when she was talking about her grandpa she kept looking at jina. what if jina has something to do with this?" seungmin asked getting jisungs attention. he tensed up before he spoke.

"why are you guys all coming at aera? she is so sweet and so nice. why can't you guys give her a break? just because she looks and sounds and has the same problems as eunah doesn't mean anything." jisung said before storming out. i got up and ran after him until we were in the street. this time, i was cautious.

"ya! han jisung! what's your problem?" i asked a bit angry as well with his sudden attitude. "shit eunah, don't you think that maybe this little world doesn't fucking rotate around you? why does every single little matter always have th be connected to you? i'm tired eunah. i'm tired of you, them, us. i'm tired of us never working out." jisung said as his eyes watered up a bit and his voice cracked.

"w-what are you saying? do you not love me no more? JISUNG, i'm dating a fucking girl just so we could be together in the end. IM DOING ALL I CAN FOR US! but yet... you're here protecting someone else while i'm trying to protect you." my tears bursted out as my voice went from high to low.

"i... d-do love you eunah. but maybe we need a break? or maybe just not get back together? i don't know eunah... i just, want to be away from you if you're going to be this rude to aera." he said.

"han jisung, i cn't go through that pain i went through not to long ago. i can't. it's either me or her jisung... me or her..." i said with more tears falling. "i'm so sorry eunah..." he came up to me and kissed me one last time. "i'm letting you go." he wiped his tears then mine. i watched him walk away until his back became distant.

i brought my knees to my forehead and i cried all that i could. i felt useless, worthless, i didn't want this anymore. this pain.
