reset || han jisung

chapter 7

the school day went by so slow. i expected it to go by quicker, but it didn't. instead it went by slowly as i kept my eyes on the clock to see how much longer i have until i can go on a date with jisung. once the school bell rang i ran out the classroom and ran all the way to the hospital leaving my friends behind.

"jisung, are you ready for the date?" i said as i panted in between each word and rested my arms on my knees. "uh-um yea!!" he sounded a bit nervous so i walked more into his ward. i saw his mother sitting down on the chair packing his stuff. i bowed and walked up to her for a hug.

"aigoo!! my eunah! it's been so so long. i missed you!! i always told jisung to bring you back home but he never did. he always told me you left him because it wasn't working out.  i missed you my daughter" she said as she came to pinch my cheeks. i laughed and looked at jisung.

"eunah.. i can't go on our first date today. i have to make sure my mom gets back safely." he said as he scratched his head. he always did that whenever he was nervous or anxious. i laughed a bit.

"first date? ... heol... don't tell me you were the one jisung lost his memory of? no no, jisung go with eunah on your date. remember her. remember what you two had." his mom said as she took the things from his hands and walked away. we both chuckled at the cute old lady in front of us and made our way to the beach.

our first date was at the beach because it was still summer. it was magical.

flashback

"i took you here because you like beautiful things. the sunset is beautiful. i also like beautiful things and i wanted to look at my beautiful best friend looking at a beautiful sunset." he smiled "so cheesy han jisung, but so cute." i said as i pinched his chubby cheeks.

we played around, threw sand, played with the sand, carved our names, and jisung threw me in the ocean. it was a fun date. then the sun started to set. we stopped playing and looked at it as jisung back hugged me.

"this is so beautiful jisung" i said staring at the sunset with my mouth wide open. "you're beautiful." he said in a serious tone. i turned around and looked at him.

"yah, why are you so serious? it's making me worry. are you hurting?" i said turning around quickly to check him. "no eunah. it's because.... i like you. i like you so much. will you be my girlfriend?" he looked at me and my whole world was spinning. "yes... i will be your girlfriend!!" i smiled widely and jumped into his arms hugging him.

"i love you"

"i love you too jisung" he smiled widely and stole my first kiss.

end of flashback

"let's go grab the bus! we might miss it if we don't hurry. we might miss the beautiful sunset!" i said to jisung as i grabbed his hand and started running to the bus.

people thought we were some crazy kids, but we were just kids trying to find our way back to each other.
