it was currently 3am and i was crying hard about earlier. it hurt me knowing jisung didn't believe me after all the things we have been through. i was sitting at the park near longguos job. i thought of longguo and decided to call him. "hello?" yongguks husky voice was heard over the phone.
"longguo... are you busy? like right now?" i said as i sniffled a bit. "eunah? are you crying? i'm not busy. where are you? i'll meet you." i heard ruffling behind the phone and i knew he was getting ready to meet me.
"i'm at the park. near your job. i'll wait for you." i said as i hung up before longguo could even answer. i waited for about 2 minutes until i saw a skinny but long figure running towards me in a hoodie, sweatpants, and sandals. i chuckled while looking at him run towards me in sandals.
"are..... you okay eunah? what had.... happened?" he said as he tried to catch his breath sitting besides me turning his body towards me to listen.
i told him to get comfortable and i told him everything that had happened since the last time we talked, and that was when aera joined our school. he listened to me well and when i cried he wiped away my tears and hugged me.
"i was going to save this as a surprise... but i'm going to your school tomorrow. i will become a student the way you have encouraged me too. i will be there for you to help you and support you. i will be your shield. hopefully jisung will notice the wrong in this situation. but as of right now, i'm here for you okay? it's okay to cry." he said as he hugged me tighter and rocked us back and forth slowly.
"let me walk you home okay?" he stood up and took my hand into his. the sudden skinship felt weird but it felt good knowing i had a friend like longguo in my life. i was grateful.
"we have arrived" i said as i turned to him and smiled weakly. "alright. now go get some sleep. we have to wake up in 3 hours you silly goose. i'll come pick you up tomorrow okay? drink warm milk if you can't sleep. it helps." he hugged me again.
i walked inside my apartment and i began making warm milk. i knew i wouldn't sleep so i tried out longguos method. before i knew it, i was out like a light despite my problems.
