reset || han jisung

chapter 2

we arrived at the store and i brought bandaids, wraps, cream, painkillers, mouthwash and ice cream. truthfully, i wasn't sure why we helped jisung after he was nothing but cruel to us.

i walked up to jisung and started treating his cuts and wounds. he winced a few times and cursed underneath his breath but i ignored it. i finished treating his wounds and i opened up his ice cream then mine.

"eunah, why'd you guys do it?" he asked me again breaking the comfortable silence. "i'm not sure jisung. i'm not sure. you were a complete dick to all of us but we still helped you. i guess it's just a natural reaction to do for the people you care about getting hurt" i said as i licked my ice cream once more.

"... thank you eunah. for treating my wounds and buying me my favorite ice cream. i miss this. i miss you. i... miss us." he said. i shot my head at him and i felt the tears coming.

"y-you have no right to say you miss me and miss us. YOU messed this up while we were perfectly fine. YOU cheated on me and broke MY heart. YOU ignored us. YOU shut us out. this was all your doing. none of us did anything. if you miss it that badly you should have never messed this up, us up. i only treated your wounds because it was the best thing to do." i said letting all my tears and feelings come out as i shouted a bit at the boy.

the next thing i know jisung was on his knees. his ice cream was set aside and he was sitting on his knees looking up at me with tears filling his eyes.

"eunah, i'm sorry for what i did in the past. i was a dick. i don't know what made me cheat on you or leave you or shut you all out but they were the worst mistakes i made in my life. i drink and smoke and do drugs to numb the pain i caused away. it hurt me seeing you sad everyday. it hurt me see you lose sleep because of me. eunah, i'm sorry. please forgive me." he said softly as tears ran down his face slowly. i wiped the remaining tears away as i pulled him up.

"i-i forgive you. but don't do anything embarrassing like that again in public." i said as i chuckled a bit ausing jisung to chuckle showing off his beautiful smile.

"what? why are you staring at me?" he said looking at me with his confused bunny looking face. "n-nothing. i missed your smile, that's all" i said going back to licking my ice cream while looking away. i felt a pair of arms snake around my waist and hug me. i stopped licking my ice cream and i turned around to see jisung hugging me.

"i missed you a lot, eunah."
