Zayn
Waking up, it only took me a split second to feel excited as I knew it was Wednesday and I knew Rose was working. Today was going to be the day where we would see each other again after our kiss and I couldn't be more excited yet nervous.
I woke up because of someone entering my door. I hoped and expected it to be Rose, but when I opened my eyes I saw Caroline and a girl I didn't know.
I quickly grabbed my beanie and wore it, rubbing my sleepy eyes after that.
"Good morning, Zayn. I want you to meet someone." Caroline gave me a small smile and I gave her a questionable look. Where was Rose?
The light brown haired girl walked over to me and stretched her hand out to me. I slowly shook it and slightly raised my eyebrow. "Hello. I'm Sophia, I'm here for internship."
"Zayn." I answered shortly. I felt uncomfortable. I didn't need strange people to see me when I had awoken only a minute ago. For me it was just something not everyone had to see.
"Okay." She answered shortly. I started thinking about Rose's first introduction to me. She already caught my attention, this girl did not. "I came from the obstetrician department. I switched with.. what's her name again? Daisy?"
"Rose." I almost scoffed. I knew she was talking about her.
Sophia crossed her arms over her chest and raised her eyebrow at my comment, "Right. That girl. She signed up for it as first but something went wrong and she got placed here. She doesn't like to work at oncology and it's not what she actually wanted so that's why we switched."
"What?" I frowned then looked at Caroline, who was awkwardly staring out of the window. "Caroline." I said coldly.
Caroline cleared her throat. "Well, it's half true. Rose didn't sign up to work at the oncology and it wasn't something she wanted at first but I'm sure she does like it now, Sophia. She just had a chance to work there and see if she likes that. That's why she's not here."
"Is she never going to come back?" I asked sadly.
Caroline looked at me and shrugged carefully, "Depends on if she's going to like it or not."
"Yes, so where do I start? Do I need to shower you?" She asked, her tone sounding like she was talking to a two years old kid.
I didn't understand where she got the balls to act like this and I also didn't understand why Caroline didn't say anything to her about her rude behavior.
"Do I look like I can't shower on my own? No, thanks. I'd rather being washed by my own siblings." I muttered and I couldn't help but clench my jaw.
Caroline sighed softly. She knew me. She knew if I didn't like someone, I really did not like that person. Nothing could change that. Your first attitude was so important to me. And it also didn't help that I was expecting Rose. I needed to see her, especially because we had kissed.
"Alright, how about you help him clean his wound? He obviously doesn't need to be showered. He can do that himself." Caroline said sweetly.
I gave her a look. "No, Caroline." I said.
She looked back at me and returned the look. "Can you take off your sleeping blouse, Zayn?"
"No." I said again. I didn't need that girl to touch me or to see me with my bare chest.
"Geez, I thought I signed up for the eighteen plus side of the oncology. Not the kids." Sophia chuckled. It made me even more annoyed and I tightly gripped onto the sheets.
