So yea, Dianite99 said a sentence, I just loved the idea. "If life was a game..."

Soren stood on the stage next to his fellow classmates. He had just received his diploma and graduated from his "Newbie" stage. Finally.

The audience gave them a standing ovation, while the students, all varying ages bowed. They held their heads up high as the principal replaced them on the stage, and took the podium. The principal hushed everyone down and waved his hand, signaling the lights to turn down. He cleared his throat and made his presentation.

"In this world, Viruen, humans are known as Levelings. You level up, and become stronger, either Amateur or Experienced Levelings. The highest level is 10, but it would take years to reach it. Most never reach it in their lifetime. To become a Level 10, it's all practice, practice, practice." His voice boomed across the auditorium, making his message clear to all the students. Soren took note of this and internalized this message. In order to become the best, I need to practice.

Lights dimming, a projector flicked on behind them, showing a chart of level system.

Levels 1 - 3: Basic skill level, can only use light magic and light skills. (Amateurs and Experienced)

Levels 4 - 6: Has access to intermediate level skills and magic, also has the ability to use a more variety of attacks and magic and can craft light level weapons and armor. (Amateurs and Experienced)

Levels 7 - 9: Has access to the previous levels of gear and more powerful attacks and skills. You must be in this range to create private parties and at a certain age (Amateurs and Experienced. Starting at Level 9 there can be no Amateur Levelings)

Level 10: You're OP, but that does not mean you can destroy a Level 20 monster very easily. (Experienced or Ultimate).

Ultimate: You're OP and you are respected at all times and many Levelings are scared of your power. Your goal is to become a Universal Type. They can see the levels of other Levelings and monsters.

Experienced - You are very strong and you are most of the times relied on doing the heavy work, but it's worth it. Reap the rewards! They are able to see the Levels of other Levelings and monsters.

Amateurs - Most of the Amateurs are Level 1 - 3. They do the light fighting/healing. Easier things for them to do. Light Casters are also Amateurs. Anything starting at Level 9; ALL Level 9 Levelings become Experienced.

Monsters: The monsters are out there to lower your self-esteem, and to make you give up on your "failed" life. They mostly target the lower Levelings. The ones who never were able to become Higher Levels. The highest monster level is 20

Level 1 - 7: Small monsters that travel through groups. Although most of the times they are harmless and don't bother hurting Experienced Levelings, occasionally, they would try to attack the Lower Levels if they have the nerve to do so.

Level 8 - 12: Once again, they don't attack, but occasionally attack Lower Levels and sometimes attack Light Casters. But with teamwork, they would be easy to beat for Lower Levels.

Level 13 - 18: These monsters attack Levelings, brutally, while others try to do it in stealth. (How they do it with those tiny feet and enormous bodies of theirs I'll never know). The monsters are more challenging, and Experienced Levels enjoy taking on these creatures. Sometimes injuries can happen and deaths.

Level 19: It is hard to beat these. At least ten of the experienced Levelings would have to team up to beat the monster and these monsters are often used in training arenas. Lives of Experienced Levelings are occasionally lost, but other than that no harm is done other than a few injuries. And possibly a few concussions and a missing body part.
