- Seth's POV -

"Come on, baby." I whispered, scooping Elena from the car seat.

"Mmhmm." Alex mumbled from the front seat.

"Alex, sweetie, we're here." I shook her shoulder gently.

"Wha..?" Her eyes opened slightly, and she looked round for a few seconds before unbuckling her seat-belt and climbing out of the car.

"Come on." I smiled, wrapping her arm around my shoulders.

"Where are we?" She asked.

"You're safe." I replied, vaguely.

"Okay."

I walked her into the house placing her on the sofa and letting her sleep. Looking round for the crib I had brought here, I noticed that the house looked different from the last time I was here. It looked more homey.

I located the crib and placed Elena in it, before walking towards the kitchen, hoping to find some food.

"Hello, you." A voice startled me.

"Alesha." I greeted the small, dark haired girl before me.

"Missed me?" She asked, batting her eyelashes.

"Of course." Frowning, I tried to swerve around her, but she got in my way at the last second, placing her hands on my chest.

"Baby, come on, we haven't seen each other in days. Where have you been?"

"Working."

"Seth,"

"Alesha."

"Talk to me. What did I do to make you hate me?"

"You know what you did." I growled.

"Seth, if I knew, I wouldn't be asking you." She snapped, placing her hands on hips.

I took a few deep breathes before answering her.

"The name Alex-Marie Walker ring a bell?"

"Er, yeah, why?"

"That's the girl you were helping conceal. For your cousin."

"Michael?"

"No, Andrew, of course Michael. The sick, twisted one, who kidnapped a sixteen year old girl, and her baby."

"Seth, I only knew he had them, I didn't know where!"

"Bullshit." I spat.

"Seth, you have to believe me!"

"I don't have to do anything, but get that young girl back home to her family. To the man who loves her. Your other cousin."

"She's dating Andrew?" Her eyes grew wide, and her mouth fell open in shock.

"Yes, she is dating Andrew."

"Oh."

"Oh? That is all you have to say?"

"What do you want me to say, Seth?"

"I don't know." I sighed, ducking around her, walking towards the fridge.

"Well, where is she?"

"In the living room, asleep on the sofa. Elena, her month old daughter is in the crib beside her."

"Right."

We remained in silence, the only noise being the soft humming of the appliances around the kitchen. Soon enough, Alesha left the kitchen. I heard her footsteps above me, then a door softly click shut, alerting me that she was in our room.
