Not long after Magnus leaves it begins to finally get dark and we begin walking back in to Alicante where we'll be meeting Raph. I slip through the streets easily with a few stares of course, but I don't let the looks ruffle my outward appearance. I don't need them knowing that some of the looks they give me bother me because it would be a sign of weakness that they could exploit. Raph wasn't supposed to be here yet, but I think they're questioning him on what happened the night Simon was turned so he had to come in earlier than expected. He's staying until we leave though which causes a smile to appear on my face and I see amusement enter my brother's eyes when he sees my smile. Even though we haven't been near one another since the fire we still move as one unit like we used to as kids and it's noticeable if you watch us closely for the signs. I stop in front of a building before taking a deep breath as I look around at all the people watching me closely for any signs of deceit.

"Ready Sebastian?"

"Of course, Jade. Let us enter and meet with him." He says with mischievousness in his eyes because he can see the looks I am drawing from the Shadowhunters.

I pull my necklace from around my neck as the niggling sense of being watched continues. I begin humming to ignore the stares on my back causing my brother to laugh startling the people watching. I slip the key into the lock and hear startled gasps from our audience. I roll my eyes before turning with my hands resting on my hips.

"How about you worry about your own lives instead of someone else's?" I spit out with aggravation lacing my tone.

I turn around without waiting for a response and turn the key opening the door. We step into the house where I shut the door and lock it to prevent anyone from coming in behind us. For a second, I close my eyes listening to the noises in the house before opening my eyes to walk up the stairs leading to his room. My brother follows behind me carefully watching his surroundings causing me to give a small smile as I hear Raph wake up. I hear him move and before Sebastian and I can blink Raph is standing at my side before he presses a kiss to my cheek with a smirk. I roll my eyes turning to see surprise in Sebastian's eyes causing me to give a small smile.

"Do you see now why I have asked father to spare Magnus and Raphael? He does not know anything past their names and what they are because I know he would disapprove of them."

"He will not find out from me, but you must know how the others feel about you. They would willingly tell anyone who would cause harm to you because they are not happy with what you have done. Jace especially is not fond of you know, but they don't tell him to hold his tongue regarding you."

"They are afraid of me and what I might be able to do. I think they are worried about the possibility of me being a spy for father even though I was left behind. Anyways introductions are in order. Raph this is my brother Sebastian and Sebastian this is Raphael."

Before anything can be said my brother gets a fire-message that he catches and reads swiftly. He gives a small sigh before sending the two of us a small smile causing my brows to furrow in confusion. Either our father or my wardens have sent him a message causing me to huff out a breath.

"Who sent the message?"

"Father is just wanting to make sure we made it here and we're safe."

"You need to go, don't you? I know that look and it's fine. I'm safe with Raph and if Jace wants to come find me I won't stop him. If I go back to the Penhallows' I'll bring Raph with me if it makes you feel better." I say with a sad smile knowing he has to go.

"Stay safe and I'll see you tomorrow. I doubt they will notice your absence considering they probably found out Simon is still here."

He leaves after nodding and I hear him leave the house as he goes wherever he is headed. I don't need to worry about him considering he is playing his part perfectly and no one is the wiser. As soon as I turn around Raph kisses me causing me to smile as he pulls me towards him. I run my hands through his hair as he presses his forehead to mine with a small smile. We've been away from each other for two weeks, but it feels much longer than that. At that thought I begin feeling sick at the thought of him losing me or me losing him. He runs his thumb across my cheek breaking me from my thoughts with a worried look on his face. I take a deep breath before giving him a weak smile making worry appear more present upon his face.

"Something is wrong isn't it? Something that has my midnight flower incredibly worried."

He leads me into his room where we sit facing one another and he watches me trying to find out what is wrong. A small smile plays on my face as I take a deep breath closing my eyes.

"I've been having visions for the last month or so as you know. Lately, there is only one thing I see and it happens right here in Idris. The outcome always ends up the same even if it varies slightly."

"You've seen yourself die here in Idris, haven't you? Something happens to you and you wind up dying because of it don't you?"

"Yes, I do end up dying, but I want to know something before we talk about the rest. Would you willingly turn me if I asked you to no matter the consequences?"

"Every single time I was give the choice to turn you or lose you forever. It may be a selfish wish, but I would turn you every single time to keep you at my side. Why did you have to know this?"

"It's the end of my vision every time it varies, but that's the constant thing that never changes. I end up asking you to turn me and after the blood exchange the vision ends for me."

"Don't you worry my midnight flower because I will save you no matter what. Now you should be going to sleep so that you can go back to them at a reasonable hour."

I hum before moving to his side where I lie down with a soft sigh. He gives a chuckle as he runs his hand through my hair lulling me to sleep.
