It was Lexy's and Aiden's third day at school, today she was going to search for a job. The days have passed quickly, Lexy still felt someone following her everywhere, but Aiden never failed in reassuring her that she's safe with him.

The school's bell rung telling that first class will soon start. Lexy turned around and came face to face with Selena.

Lexy looked at her with a confused look on her face.
"What are you doing here?" Lexy asked
"Yes! How come I didn't see you yesterday?" Selena asked
Lexy just shrugged and said "Well, thank God I know someone other than Aiden" Lexy chuckled
"Heyy, ain't I enough?" Aiden said from behind her with a pout.
Lexy pecked him on the lips with a smile.

"Well, Selena, this is Aiden, my boyfriend. And Aiden, this is Selena, I met her at the grocery store the other day."
"It's nice to meet you" Aiden said with a smile.
"Same" Selena said
"Well, let's head to class, what do you have?" Lexy asked.
"Biology" Aiden said.
"Maths" Selena said with a groan.
"Wait, I have the same thing." Lexy smiled.
"Well, we'll see you later then" Lexy smiled at him and left with Selena.

"What are you going to do later today?" Selena asked Lexy in the maths' period.
"I'm going to search for a job" Lexy said.
"Ohh! If you want, the pizzeria where I work is searching for a waitress."
"Wait, but you work in aa grocery store, don't you?"
"Well, the pizzeria owns a grocery store, and the day that I met you I was in the grocery store because one of the staff couldn't come."
"Oh, I'd love to work with you, and in a pizzeria. But they might fire me because I will eat the pizza instead of giving it to clients."
Selena laughed at Lexy nd shook her head.

"Mrs. Amor and Mrs. Smith, you can continue your discussion out of this class, I don't mind you talking, but you're distracting the others. I you wanna fail, you shall fail alone.
"Sorry" The girls said in simultaneously.

Lexy was now in Selena's car, they were heading to the pizzeria to talk to the manager to interview Lexy.

When they entered the building, Lexy saw a large picture of Xander's on a wall. He had a straight face, there was no sign for any happiness and joy in his eyes. Lexy felt sorry for him. 'Maybe if I shoot him with an arrow, he might actually fall in love with someone. Love always cures all the hate in someone. But... wait... why is there a picture of him in here?'

Selena laid Lexy to large double doors. The girl knocked twice and heard hoarse voice saying 'come in'. Selena gave her an encouraging smile and mouthed her a 'good luck'.

Lexy entered the room alone, she saw an old man sitting behind a large desk. He had short, gray hair with blue eyes. He had wrinkles around his eyes, he wore a dark tux with a red tie around his neck. He seemed welcoming, he smiled at Lexy warmly.

"Theo Grey" The old man said, extending his hand for her to shake.

Lexy suddenly froze 'It might be a coincidence, he can't be Xander's father'
She got out of her trance when she saw a hand waving in front of her face.

"Sorry, I just zoned out, your name reminded me of someone I know. I'm Lexy Amor" She said shaking his hand.
"Well, you want to apply for the waitress job, right?"
"Yes, Mr. Grey."

"Oh, just call me Theo, I hate being called formally." He said.

'That's definitely not Xander's father' Lexy thought.

"Shall I see your CV?"
"Of course" Lexy said and handed him her CV.

Theo looked through it then looked up at her and smile "Well, you have a lot of experience"

"Yes, I worked at many restaurants, the last one was MacDonald's, I worked there for 2 years."
"Well, I'm not the type that likes digging in the past of my future employees,. so your salary will be 800$ per month. You start working tomorrow. And, I'm not the manager her, as you've been told, I'm the owner of this pizzeria, it will soon be my son's."
"U-um, is your son named Xa-xander G-grey?" Lexy said with a petrified look on her face.

He smiled warmly at her. "Yes, you know him from the TV, right?"

"No, we actually met at the airport a few days ago."
Theo just nodded at her.
"Well, thank you so much for the job, I think I should get going."
"Okay, Selena will give your schedule, good bye"

'So much for being happy. This man just has to pop out of nowhere wherever I am." Lexy thought while getting out of the office.

As soon as she stepped out of the office, she was bombarded by Selena's questions.
"What did he say" "Are you gonna work here" "He said that you don't have enough experience?" "When will you start working?" "Are you excited?"

"No, wait a second" Lexy said, still trying to understand the idea that she was gonna start working in Xander's pizzeria.

"You weren't accepted?" Selena said and started panicking. "Did he get a call from someone and got angry and screamed at you?" "Did you punch him and you both started a boxing match?" "Did his wife call him and said that she wanted a divorce?" "A unicorn came from the window and said that he would be better employee?"

"Shut upp, jeez Sel, a unicorn, seriouslyy?!"
Selena just shrugged.
"Well, I have been accepted and tomorrow's my first day"

Selena squealed.

"Let's go celebrate!!"

The girls got a pizza and went home. Aiden was already there, he was happy for Lexy, but he was still worried 'What if, the person that's following her, knows that she's my girlfriend and he's trying to get more information about her. What if they kidnap her and don't give her back unless I give them their money and merchandises?'
