I'm not ugly.
I'm actually really pretty.
I'm just not popular.
If I had gone to Hollister to buy new clothes the week before school started, curled my hair, and gotten a spray tan, I would have been popular.
But no.
Instead, I wore a cropped top that said Good Vibes, skinny jeans, a sweater, some vans, and a necklace with a ying-yang attached to the end. It was a great outfit, it just stood out. And in Springtown High School, you can't stand out.
I'm from California.
That means that if you don't wear short shorts, a bandeau and curl your hair, you're a loser.
As you might be able to tell, our school didn't have a...strict, dress code. It was all about individuality and just being you. But if you aren't a slut you are judged.
