Chapter 4

Home was my safe place.

School was my hell.

But when I was home, with my parents and my sister, Annie, I felt safe.

My mom is they mayor of Springtown. She works a lot. She has this dream of a fantastic eco-friendly town that she works towards everyday in that big office downtown. That office is more of a home to here then our actual home.

My dad, he's a cop. He is actually pretty good at his job to. He does everything in his power to make sure Springtown is a safe place for everyone.

I think that's why I liked my house so much, it was always filled with good vibes. And I'm big on vibes.

Annie is 6. She was always one of my favorite people, she was so naive and she was always trapped in a fantasy, whereas I was trapped in the nightmare that was my life.

What I would give to be 6 again.

What I would give to be alive again.
