I thought that I'd be able to see Nick in action, but he took the time to drop me off at his house before leaving. Kendall was here to accompany me, while Nathan left with Nick.

Nick didn't even take the time to prepare himself for a battle. He just got up and left. What if he didn't make it back? What if he was to get hurt? And why did the town and city violence always have an association with Nick?

"You look worried," Kendall noticed.

Was it that obvious that I was thinking about him?

"I am," I agreed. "My brother hasn't-"

"But you're also worried for Nick," she pointed out. "It's okay, I'm worried too. If Nathan gets hurt, I'll be crushed."

"You really like him, huh?" I smiled.

"I barely know him, but I am starting to like him," she corrected. "He's so sweet and honest."

"That's great!" I smiled. "I'm happy for you."

"Thanks, I'm happy for you too," she smiled.

"You do know that Nick and I aren't together, right?" I chuckled.

"Netheir am I with Nathan, but we still like each other," she pointed out.

"Okay, but Nick and I don't have feelings for each other either," I argued. "We're not even friends."

Were we?

"If you say so," Kendall teased. "You two are definetly getting along."

"We argue every other day," I chuckled.

"Like married couples," she continued to tease.

"There's nothing going on between us," I denied.

"Well, until Nick is present, speak for yourself," she laughed.

"He doesn't like me!" I laughed. "Plus, he has his eyes on someone already."

"You," she teased, and I smiled before shaking my head.

"Maybe that lady with the high pitch laughter that he had sex with," I shrugged.

"Victoria? Ha!" Kendall laughed. "People only use her for pleasure; nothing more, and nothing less."

"Well, maybe it's someone else," I shrugged.

"Yeah, you," she smiled. "Why do you keep doubting it anyways?"

"Because it's not true," I answered.

"Okay, so hypothetically speaking, if Nick was to like you, would you like him back?" Kendall asked.

I shrugged in response. I wouldn't dare admit that out loud without knowing how he felt towards me.

"C'mon!" Kendall sucked her teeth, causing me to chuckle.

"What?" I laughed.

"There's definetly something going on between you two," she replied.

He was definetly warming up to me, but was that enough to even assume such a thing? Wouldn't a man as brave as him make a move already?

"There isn't!" I denied again. "Nick is very handsome, I'll admit that, and his scent is very intoxicating, but that's all."

"Surely, there has to be something, besides his scent, that you really like about him," Kendall pushed.

"Nope," I responded.

What a lie!

"Well, has he opened up to you?" Kendall asked.
