                            Ch.5 Siege on the Capital

James, Caleb, Gabriel, Aria, Tybalt, Jessica, and Bertrum walk into the front room of the palace. Caleb goes to sit down on the stairs as James explains, "Guys, um, the capital city Senterion has fallen to Asareth and an army of Demons. They are also three Leviathan class dark dragons there. The worst part is their calling everyone in."

"We're leaving tomorrow so pack your stuff up tonight." Caleb barks in a militant tone.

"We're? The hell do you mean we're. I am not going anywhere I'm not a legal mage or knight." Gabriel challenges Caleb.

"Do I look like I give a fuck! You have a god damned responsibility! What you think you have all of that power for fun! The strong protect the weak! You're a selfish piece of shit." Caleb yells at Gabriel.

"I'm sorry, the world I'm from where you aren't raised by the royal family and the strong do whatever they motherfucking please." Gabriel snaps back a Caleb. Blue lightning begins circulating around Caleb as bright orange flames begin to burst from Gabriel. Caleb gets up from the stairs and begins to walk towards Gabriel and Gabriel begins to do the same. The two soon meet each other face to face with their two elements clashing causing sparks to fly around.

Then Tybalt stomps on the granite floor causing a wall to erect between Caleb and Gabriel. "Both of you control your capricious natures, or gods help me I will mutilate both of you!" Tybalt commands the two of them.

"Gabriel let's go can you walk me home," Jessica says in a slightly nervous tone.

"Alright, let's go," Gabriel says trying to suppress his anger but failing badly. Gabriel and Jessica walk out of the palace and down Veyron's main street to see the citizens packing up their firecrackers, wands, staffs, swords, shields, and other items that they owned. They continue to walk until they stop at the pub that Jessica works.

"Home sweet home!" Jessica exclaims

"Wait you live here?" Gabriel asks fiddling in his hair.

"Yeah, my dad owns the pub. I lived in the upper level of the pub for all nineteen years of my life." Jessica says looking at the pub proudly.

"So, I see your family is important to you. But the question is, are your parents' home?" Gabriel says pulling Jessica into his arms.

She smiles then kisses him, "Yes, they are what should we but you sneak in through my room window." Jessica walks up into the pub gesturing Gabriel to go around the back. Gabriel waits until she goes inside then sneaks to the back of the pub to see Jessica now in her underwear.

"Lingerie? Kinky." Gabriel says raising his eyebrows. Gabriel then uses his fire to fly up into the window.

After a few hours, Gabriel comes bursting through the pub's front door with only his underwear on being chased by a massive red-haired Caucasian male with a battle ax. "Get back here you little shit! Ya think you going to bang my daughter and get away with it" Bellows Jessica's Father.

"Dad! Stop it!" Jessica yells running out into the street with her bedsheet wrapped around her. Jessica's dad chases Gabriel halfway across town but eventually gives up and begins to head back home. But Gabriel still scared for his life continues to run towards the palace. Gabriel burst through the palace doors which wakes everyone up.

Now everyone is sitting in the living room with Tybalt, James, and Caleb laughing their heads off.

"So, you mean to tell me that you got caught having sex with Jessica and chased around the city by her father!" James says trying to control his laughter.

"Har, har, har laugh your asses off but guess who won't be able to eat there anymore. Yeah, all of us now if you excuse me I'm going to my room." Then Gabriel marches up the stairs to his bed.

"Alright guys, goodnight," Caleb says getting up from the couch. Soon they all went to bed.

James wakes with a sleeping Aria still wrapped in his arms. He kisses her on the cheeks then says, "Hey, babe it's time we get ready to go."

"A few more minutes," Aria begs but they eventually get up and get dressed. To meet everyone else outside including Gabriel and Jessica.

"I thought you said you were not coming with us," James says to Gabriel.

"Yeah, but we're family and I do have a responsibility of being your older brother. And plus, Jessica said that she was called in for healer duties too."

James looks at his friends and family then says, "Alright then, let's head to battle."
