                        Ch.14 What is your Desire?

In the heavens, the sun begins to set. "Alright, that is all for today. Take a breather and get your selves together." Tresterian commands to the beaten and battered trio of demigods.

"Oh gods, I haven't had my ass handed to me since I trained with my mother," James says as he falls on his back.

"I feel like I died." Caleb sighs tiredly

Gabriel helps James up and says, "And we have to do this every day until we achieve this divinity bullshit." They begin to recover and head back to the golden palace of the gods.

Caleb directs his two friends to the hot springs. They walk through the door of the bathing room then they're clothes change into towels that are wrapped around them. After entering the bathing area James, Gabriel, and Caleb submerge themselves in the hot spring's water, their wounds begin to heal. "Holy shit! This water is the legendary water of the god spring!" James says bursting through the surface of the water.

"No, shit," Gabriel says sarcastically.

"You know, I can't really tell if you are being sarcastic because you always sound like that," James replies with hubris.

Gabriel rolls his eyes as he says, "Maybe I am always sarcastic."

Caleb laughs then says, "Damn James, he has you there. But we should get out now, the magic-infused water has healed and cleansed us of any dirt and toxins." They decide to follow Caleb's advice and head out the hot spring and to their respective suites.

James is now lying in his bed watching a magical broadcast of his favorite cartoon "Mick and Rorty" on the high-quality magic circle that was placed on the wall of his suite. James continues to watch the cartoon until he hears knocking on his door. James opens the door to see a male long-eared elf with black hair and blue eyes wearing a black suit. James slightly annoyed that this elf interrupted his show growls, "What the hell do you want."

"Hello Master Leone, I am Kris the butler of my fair lady Veyra." The elf replies.

James facepalms as he says, "Tell that crazy goddess I am not in the mood to deal with her right now."

Kris's face remains the same as he grabs James and says, "Master Leone, you do not have a choice." The Kris teleports to a suite bigger than James in front of a waiting Veyra in her sleeping garments.

Kris vanishes as soon as James turns around angered, "What the fuck!" James yells at the top of his lungs.

"Really? Am I really not that attractive? Do you know how many gods would love just to be in my room?" Veyra says in a slightly annoyed tone

James begins to shrug as his voice pitch gets higher, "I never said you weren't attractive, actually you're one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen."

"Oh, is that true?" Veyra says smiling and leaning in revealing a little cleavage. "If that is true I guess you desire me," Veyra says with extra emphasis on the desire.

James begins to laugh as he says, "Were you just trying to seduce me? I get the whole goddess of love and stuff but I already have someone."

Veyra's confidence turns into anger as she screams, "You have the audacity turn down, me!?"

"Yup," James responds yawning. "But I do have a couple questions for you."

Veyra looks at James dumbfounded, "So, James! What is your question."

James sighs then says, "What are you. Well, to be honest, I have never heard the goddess of love and desire."

"Ignorance must be bliss. Well since you asked I will tell you. Your bloodline of gods is known as the gods of creation, the masters of elements. But, gods like me, we were born from dreams of humanity. We are known as deities. We're not as strong as the gods of creation but if there's enough of us we can take one of them down." Veyra tells James who is absorbing every bit of information that she gives him.

"Well with this newfound information I guess I should be on my way now," James says trying to step out of Veyra's room.

Veyra's stops James from walking then says, "If you do not hold any lust towards me, what do you desire then?"

James smiles shyly then says, "It's my girlfriend Aria, she's been my friend since I was a kid and we just recently got together but I think I love her."

Veyra rolls her eyes as she says, "I am the goddess of love. I know you love her but you have such a strong desire for something else that I think you have been trying to forget."

Just as she says that James's eyes flare red as he growls, "Don't speak another word!"

"Oooooh, I like it when someone tells me what do." Veyra taunts James.

Lightning and fire begin to run off him as he looks at Veyra with his burning crimson eyes, "Do not provoke me."

"Ah, there it is the anger and emotion that you have been dying to release. Come on take it out on me." Veyra says, now excited.

Then James's eyes return their natural blue color as the fire and lightning disperse. "I am better than that. You want to know what my desire is that bad. It is to kill Zeren and make him suffer along with his daughter." James proclaims
