Ch.7 Redemption

The sun enters the warrior's eyesight as the burst through Senterion's gates. They charge into the burning cities to face the masked twisted shadows known as demons. James, Gabriel, Aria, and Caleb charge in side by side. Caleb draws his silver and blue rapier and begins to stab and vaporize demons. Gabriel begins to shoot at the demonic archers on the roofs above the streets. James shoots up into the sky slashing and cutting through hordes of flying demons with his two blades. Aria begins to create tornadoes and slashing gusts of winds destroying demons. The army as a whole begins to lay waste upon the demons then a powerful blast of fire vaporizes a decent part of the army. James looks up into the sky flying above him was an enormous pitch-black dragon and Asareth standing on top of its head.

"You!" James roars as he pierces through the dragon and slashes at Asareth who blocks with her dual bladed scythe.

"My name is not You. But it's nice to see you too!" Asareth jokes in a psychotic manner.

"Where the hell is my mom!" James yells at Asareth with his black and red god slayer armor emerges encasing his body.

"I sent her to hell! It is quite the ironic joke if I do say so myself. I mean she is in the actual hell! It's hilarious. Asareth says with her face twisting with a mad laughter. James aura explodes with fire and lightning flying everywhere knocking the dragon out of the sky. The two warriors engage in combat in midair. James gashes Asareth across the chest causing her blood to erupt from the wound.

"Bring my mother back!" James screams in an animalistic tone.

Asareth laughs then says, "It doesn't work like that! It's a one-way trip!" Then summons her god slayer armor upon her. James begins to attack Asareth increasing his speed and power which each blow. Asareth creates a rune to shield herself from James's attacks then she creates a rune twice the size of the shielding one. The rune creates a legion of dark daggers at James who deflects and parries all of the daggers.

"Is that all you have?" James asks in an enraged tone. But as soon as he said that the daggers begin to blast beams of purple energy at James. James begins to move at speeds that allowed him to block the beams that were shooting at him from every direction.

Then Asareth appears behind him knocking James back into the city and through multiple buildings. Asareth laughs, "You're a sorry excuse for an opponent!" James gets up from the ruble to engage in the battle with Asareth again.

Caleb and Gabriel begin to make their way to the castle until they are stopped by the two other dragons. "Caleb, go on ahead, I got this." Gabriel yells then begins to shoot at the dragons pulling them in another direction away from Caleb who makes a b-line straight to the castle doors with his lightning speed. Caleb opens the castle doors to find a bat-winged grey-skinned teenage boy with black eyes holding the royal family and Thalia who was in the same dress since the magic call, captive.

"Who in Tresterian's name are you?" Caleb asks with pointing his rapier at the winged teenager.

"I am the demon, Karthos." He responds with a sinister smile. Then appears in front of Caleb and slams him by his head into the floor and through the lowest level of the castle.

Caleb struggles to get up as he says, "Dammit. That hurt." Then Karthos flies down and kicks Caleb through a wall.

"Get up human and give me a challenge! Or I'll kill everyone upstairs." Karthos says in an angered manic manner. Then Caleb bursts through the hole in the wall and begins to attack Karthos. Caleb cuts the side of Karthos's face then Karthos bashes Caleb into the ground. Karthos grabs Caleb's hair and pulls him up by it revealing his bloodied face then throws him up to the level of the castle that they were originally on. When Karthos gets up to the same level he is blasted with a huge cannon of water.

"Hurt him anymore I will kill you!" Thalia says with her hands still holding up the rune that she created.

"Thot begone!" Karthos yells as he blasts dark energy at Thalia and the royal family. Caleb still struggling on the ground creates a shield of lightning around them as the dark energy makes impact. The dust clears to show an unharmed royal family and Thalia. Karthos laughs then says, "Huh wow, I thought that actually was going to work."

"I have had enough of your amusement at my expense. It's your turn to suffer!" Caleb yells as he uses his rapier to stand. The Caleb's blue lightning begins to swirl around him until he is engulfed in it. The electricity begins to die down revealing Caleb white and blue god slayer armor. Caleb smirks under his god slayer helmet as he says, "I am going to fuck your shit up!"
