Ch.12 Daddy's Little King
"Bastard! You are no son of mine!" Yells the shrill voice of the king. Caleb wakes in a room similar to the one Gabriel woke up in but the bed had blue silk sheets his favorite color. He looks over into the left corner of his room and sees his clothes freshly washed and neatly folded on the silver desk occupying the corner space. He looks under the sheet to see that he doesn't have any pants on. He scuffles out of the bed and grabs his clothes and puts them on while walking through the rooms
"So, you've returned." Says a beautiful woman with a sun-kissed tan, long black hair and lustful red eyes.
"Oh Miria, even though you're the goddess of war you have more lust than the goddess of love and lust herself. I advise you control yourself." Caleb says reaching for his rapier but realizing it is not there
Miria now enraged by the demigod salacious comments she pushes him against and brings her face close enough to his where she could feel his breath on her face. Her lips get closer and closer to his then she stops and says lustfully, "I can take you forcefully whenever and however I want to. Don't forget that." Miria says slowly running her finger down his chest as she walks off down the hallway.
"Dammit!" He thought as he slams his fist against the wall due to his inability to control anything that went on in that situation. He travels through the halls as an experienced veteran. He thinks about the first time he was in heaven. It was when he was eight. For him the day started as any other being yelled at by his step-father in the throne room in front all of his subjects.
"You are nothing more than just a bastard! A god given mistake!" King Havalore III yelled with spit flying out his salt and pepper beard. The king had light brown eyes the burned with hatred for the eight-year-old demigod. Caleb was wise at that age, though what the king said to Caleb even if it angered him Caleb would just stand there and take it and give the king in return a snobbish smirk almost looking down to the man cursing him. That would even enrage the king even having him scream at the top of his lungs, "You, insolent bastard!"
Soon Caleb's smirk turned to laughter, his laughter continues until Caleb says, "Your Highness! To be honest you're beneath me. Here you cursing an eight-year-old boy in front of your nobles who are too afraid to say anything because you might strip them of their status. I want all of you here to hear this! Your king is weak, pathetic, and most of all lacking in leadership! One day soon, old man, I will be king and there isn't shit you can do about." Caleb's confidence enrages the king as he gets from his throne and tries to backhand, Caleb. Caleb catches King Havalore III's wrist with his right hand and begins to twist it until the king is on his knees.
"You, damned demon!" The king growls out with his face contorting in pain. "I will kil..."
Then Caleb backhands the king then says, "Ah, ah, ah, I'm no demon I am a demigod!" Blue lightning begins to form an aura around Caleb as he throws the king back into his throne knocking it over. As he walks out he looks at both guards who were frozen in fear Caleb smiles as he says, "Buck up." Then he passes them both two pouches of gold coins that he had in his pockets. Caleb looks walks out of the throne room to find Tresterian wearing a black shirt in some dark jeans and brown combat boots. There is a brief pause of silence until Caleb says, "After a simple deduction and the fact that I look just like you, I presume you're my father Tresterian."
Tresterian nods then says, "You're magical powers are growing stronger. Son, I want to teach you something. Please forgive me that I wasn't there for you I have...
"Responsibilities? I know you are a god. Sometimes you need to make sacrifices for the greater good." Caleb interrupts his father.
Tresterian smiles as rubs his son's hair, "Alright Caleb, let's go heaven now. I don't have much time with you left."
Caleb nods as his father teleports them in front of a large palace formed of Gold and the rest is history.
Now traveling through the castle, Caleb stops at the hot springs room. He walks through the door and instantly his clothes switched to a towel wrapped around his waist. "Gotta love god magic." Caleb thought to himself as walks into the hot spring area. After bathing Caleb reaches the training field that he always met his father at to see a bolt of yellow lightning streaking across heaven's beautifully sunset purple sky and land right in front of him. Tresterian emerges from the bright bolt.
The father and son smile as they greet each other with a masculine but firm hug. Tresterian grins as he says, "How are you doing, my little king."
