Veyra sits on in the chair next to a bed with James's unconscious body lying in it. She looks at his slightly bruised body then a tight feeling in her chest emerges with a small lump in her throat. "What the hell is wrong with me!" She yells at herself in her head. Veyra's frustration continues until she hears a knocking on the door. With a flick of her wrist the door open to reveal Aria standing there nonchalantly. "Come in if you want to." Veyra says in a cold tone which surprises her and Aria but Aria walks in any ways.

"So, when is he going to wake up?" Aria asks

"I don't know! Do I look like the goddess of medicine!" Veyra snaps then sighs. "He should wake up in the next hour. I am a little edgy today, sorry."

"No, it's okay. We really don't have the best of relationships anyway." Aria says looking at the sleeping demi-angel. "Why?" Aria snaps

Veyra face begins to twist into a mischievous smirk. "You still love him." Veyra giggles. "Wow, it must have been excruciating. Did you think of James every time you kissed someone else or even worse." Veyra gasps teasing Aria.

Aria's stomach churns as her emotions reach a boiling point as the wind begins to swirl around the room an Aria's eyes begin to glow blue as she screams, "I am tired of your condescending attitude and you're holier than thou posturing!"

Then Veyra snaps her finger with the force of small hurricane dispersing all of the winds in the room as she grabs Aria by her neck and says, "Humble yourself, child, understand your place in the greater picture." Veyra's eyes glow with a white energy light.

James begins to stir as he groans "Zeren I will kill you."

Veyra drops Aria who collapses to her knees and coughs. "You will never speak of this," Veyra commands Aria.

Aria holding back tears nods in understanding.

Miria lies in her bed as she looks to at the light at the center of her room. A white magical circle appears with a man of average height, silver hair, and golden eyes. Miria looks at the man uninterested then she says, "Wow, Beyusese, God of intellect to what do I owe your honor?"

Beyusese smirks as he says, "I am here for your hand in marriage again." Miria forms a spear in her hand as she throws it at the God of intellect who already had a grip on the spears before she could finish the throwing motion.

"Really, you should know that I am thirty steps ahead of you. My love, I see you are not ready but you have eternity to answer me." Beyusese says as he walks back into his magical circle.

Miria's eyes begin to water as she struggles to hold down her emotions. "Stop crying! I am the goddess of war not the goddess of weaklings. Control your fucking emotions dammit." Miria yells in her head as small daggers conjure in the air and shoot into the wall. Miria begins to gain control of her emotions as Veyra opens her door.

"Beyusese visited you didn't him," Veyra says as she walks over to the distraught Goddess of War. Veyra hugs Miria as she says, "Look at me. He does love you so why don't you give him a chance"

"He thinks he can have anything he wants because he can justify it. There has to be boundaries to what someone can and can't do. And just because he is able to explain why he loves me doesn't mean I belong to him! One day I will kill him." Miria roars.

"What I am getting is that you feel belittled by his presence and the fact that he is the smartest thing in existence." Veyra responds.

"You have no room to speak you're the one falling in love with your possible enemy." Miria yells at Veyra.

Veyra smiles then hold Miria face as she says, "But I know what, find out what you want."

"I know what I want." Miria responds.

"Then tell me what is your desire?" Veyra states more then asks

"I want to be free from my bloodlust, I want be more than just the goddess of war." Miria states

"Wouldn't accepting Beyusese be the first step in being something more than what you are. It's not like you're not interested in him." Veyra says,

Miria stands up as she says, "I can't!"

"Because that is your flaw. War is can only go one way, loss. You will always end up alone in a real or metaphorical pool of blood. It truly is a sad existence that we gods have isn't it." Veyra tells Miria eyes full of remorse.

Miria's eyes fill with tears as she realizes her hopeless fate. "It really is sad isn't it."
