"Thanks for sleeping in here with me tonight. Not that we'll get very much sleep," I thank Newt as we lie together on a cot in the medtent.

"Are you kidding? I sleep next to you every night, no matter where it is," He slightly laughs as he kisses my forehead.

"I can't believe this might be the first of many nights without Minho," I tell him. He sighs and holds me tighter in his arms.

"We'll get through it. We'll be okay. As long as we're together, we can be okay," He tries to comfort me, but I'm too nervous. Minho means so much to me.

"It's funny, now we're actually alone together but neither of us are in the mood," I kind of laugh as I realize.

"Who said that?" Newt grins and crawls on top of me. I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Really? Our friends are dying and you're in the mood?" I ask, cocking my eyebrow.

"It could help get our minds off things..." He trails off and kisses me. "Besides, if, and I'm sure when, Alby comes back, we won't get this chance again."

I think it over and decide he's right. I pull him back down to kiss me again. He pulls kisses down towards my collarbone.

"Newt?" I whisper, tangling my hand in his hair.

"What is it, Beth?" He asks breathily against my skin before kissing my neck again.

"I love you," I tell him with my eyes closed. I feel him stop and I look up to see him grinning down at me. "What? Why'd you stop?"

"I love you too," He slips his index fingers behind my ears and pulls my head in to kiss his lips again. This time I trail kisses down to his neck. I softly bite down to hear him moan.

"I want you. All of you," I whisper against his neck. I hear him swallow hard before he pulls my lips back to his. And everything seems perfect.
