As Ms. Akerson got done picking names, we head over to the lab next door and she orders each of us to sit next to our partners. I slowly walk over to where Niall had made an open seat next to him. I sit next to him, and listen closely as she explains what we had to do, trying not to pay any attention to Niall who was looking at me on and off.

"You all need to make a video describing some type of crazy experiment that explains something to the class. We will show this video in front Next Friday. You approximently have two weeks to get this done. I don't care how or when you do it, just as long as it is informational and it gets done. Okay?" She explains, handing out papers to everyone.

"Okay." We all say together.

"Perfect." She answers, and walks back into her classroom, finishing a granola bar of hers, leaving us unsupervised.

I look down at the paper she had handed out explaining some ideas for this project, trying not to say anything to Niall.

"Ya know, I think the last time I spoke to you was this morning.. We were partners then, too." Niall says, smiling at my paper, and then looks up at me. I look at him annoyed.

"Yeah, unless staring counts as speaking. Then you've been talking to me all day." I answer. I look down at my hands, slightly regretting what I had just said.

He chuckles to himself. "Yeah, I guess you could say that," He replies, once again looking at me. "But you've been staring at me too, so you kinda spoke for yourself on that one." He smirks. He was right.. I should've watched what I was doing.

It was quiet for a couple minutes until I decided to break the ice. "So, what do you suggest we do?" I ask, still trying to avoid eye contact.

"Well, what do you suppose we do?" He asks back.

"I'm not really sure.." I answer.

"How about this, you come over after school and we can work on this then. Okay?" He says.

"Wait, over to your house..?" I nervously ask.

"Well yeah, what did you think? The park or something?" He laughs. "I mean, we could go there instead if you'd like.. I dont care." He suggests.

"Oh, no, your house is fine.." I say, looking at his arm marked up with ink. I think Niall notices that I'm staring because he 'casually' pulls up his sleeve a bit more than it was to reveal even more of his tattoos.'

"Okay, it's a date then!"  He exclaims. His comment causes me to notice that I had been staring and I quickly look away, knowing that he knew what I was doing. The bell all of a sudden rang and everyone put their things away and walked to their next class. Mine of course was study hall in the exact same room with the exact teacher so Kaylin, and I stayed, and chatted about my experience with Niall as a partner.

"How'd it go?" She asks, with a sorry look.

"Fine, actually.." I answer.

"So he doesn't think you're a freak?"

"No. He's actually kinda nice.."

"Really?"

"Yeah.. But cheeky." I add.

"I could see him being cheeky. Doesn't really surprise me." She confesses.

The bell rings and several students walk in with laptops and books. I had already gotten a laptop from a previous hour. I was all set. A couple minutes pass by and Niall walks in with a laptop also. Great, he's in this class with me too? Well, I didn't really mind after what had happened in Science. I was curious. He takes a seat and Ms. Akerson pretends not to notice that he was late.

I turn on the laptop that I had an logged onto my Facebook account. I had several notifications. Including a friends request. I went to go see who it was. Niall. It was him, Niall sent me a request. I went ahead and accepted it. I look over at Niall who suddenly smiles at his computer and decides to type. A message appears on my screen. It was from Niall.

"Niall: Hey, Bailie." It read. I look over at him and then back at my computer.

"Bailie: Hi, Niall."

"Niall: I can see you. Haha!"  I look over at him, and he slightly waves at me. I smile at him and focus back on my laptop.

"Bailie: I know. Haha"

"Niall: You're different.."  I became confused.

"Bailie: Different? How so?"

"Niall: ..Forget it. It was stupid. Never mind." I look over at him, and he closes his laptop. I close mine too, seeing that it was almost time for 8th hour. Gym. Gross. I was kind've surprised because of how fast the time flew by. It only felt like two minutes, but it was already past 40.

The bell rang and I walked to the cart to put my computer away along with Kaylin and Niall. We all headed toward the gym and into the lockerooms to get dressed out. I was kinda happy that Niall was in gym. I honestly couldn't wait to see him.

We got done getting dressed into our white shirts and red shorts. I pulled my hair up into a high pony tail and Kaylin and I walk out into the gym to where everyone else was waiting. I walked out in my short shorts and I could feel Niall's eyes on me. I went to go sit by Morgan to do our stretches.

Afterward, we all got into our teams to play dodgeball. Of course, Niall was on my team and Kaylin was on the opposite one. How ironic. Time went by and by the time we were at our third game of dodgeball, Niall was all sweaty and going hardcore. He would constantly take away my ball and throw it for me. I got tired of it so I decided to purposely get out and stand on the side to watch.

I honestly could not take my eyes off of him. He was perfect. My worst nightmare, as well as the best one yet.
