Gym class was ended with the sound of a whistle hurting my ears. Everyone raced into the locker rooms to get dressed back into there previous clothing.
I finished changing and walked out to go to my locker. I was about to leave until I realized that Niall wanted me to come over. I looked over at the boy putting getting his bookbag out of his locker while trying to motion me over to him.
"Bailie! Come here!" He shouts, ignoring all of the stares he got because of how loud he was.
I slowly walked over to where he was. "I almost forgot." I say, looking at the floor.
"It's fine. As long as you remembered," He says. "Should we go?" He asks.
"Oh. Yeah." I say, unsure of my doings.
We walked out of the school together and headed over to a bus that Kaylin was also on. Thank God.
"Oh, you ride this bus?" I ask, trying not to be so awkward.
"Yeah," he gestured me to get in front of him. "Ladies first." He tells me. I blush and smile at him. I walk onto the bus, ignoring the bus driver asking for a bus pass. We walk over to where Kaylin was sitting and sat across from the seat she was in. Niall sat on the outside, beside me.
"So what do you think about this school? Or, this place in general, anyway.." I ask him. Kaylin looks over at me and then at him, waiting for an answer.
"Well first off, the school's alright, besides the principal, the teachers, and every other person who keeps messing with me because of where I come from. But they don't know my life story, and I'm not planning on telling anyone. No one would care anyway. And this location, is fine I guess." He answers, furrowing his eyebrows, staring at his hands. Kaylin acts surprised and quietly looks back out the window.
"Oh. Okay," I say, quietly. "You don't have to listen to them, ya know." I blurt out.
He looks up and over at me. "I know," he says, staring into my eyes. "But it's constant. I get this everyday, and I'm sick of it." He continued.
I shake my head in shame and look out the window that was beside me. Time passes by with awkward silence between the both of us until the bus comes to a jolt. I look up to see that Kaylin was getting off.
"Bye, Bailie! And uh, bye, Niall.." She says, waving at us.
I wave back, but Niall decides to ignore her. I frown at him and put my bookbag on. The bus continues its movement and then comes to a hault again, causing me to slightly move out of my seat.
Niall stands up and swings the strap to his bookbag over his muscular arms. "We're here." He says, waiting for me to get up from the seat. I stand up and we walk off of the bus together.
"You're house looks nice." I say, on my way up his driveway.
"Yeah, I guess so." He says, putting his hand on my waist. I slightly move away from his body and speed up a bit. I look back at Niall who is admiring my body. I roll my eyes and look forward, walking toward the gigantic house. I reach the door and wait as Niall catches up to me and pulls out a key.
I stay silent as he unlocks the main door, opening up to a huge livingroom.
"Wow.." I say under my breath.
"You like it?" He says, tossing his bag on the leather couch.
"It's really.. Big." I answer, looking around the huge house.
"Yeah?" He asks.
"Mhm.." I mumble in awe.
It took a minute before I caught Niall's eye on me. I looked over at him and he quickly looked away, as if he hadn't done anything.
"So, should we be heading upstairs?" He asks, pointing his thumb at the staircase.
"Oh. Yeah." I answer, awkwardly smiling at him as I pass by. I walk up the stairs with Niall behind me. I reach the top, and Niall came up beside me and motioned me over to a door.
