As I sat against the play set, I browsed around on Facebook, reading about all of the drama that was posted online. suddenly bright headlights from whom I was guessing Niall's car, started flashing down the road.
I quickly grabbed my purse and got up to run to Niall's vehicle. I didn't want him to stop directly in front of my house in fear of my parents looking out the window and seeing me get into this random car.
"Hey." Niall smirked at me as I climbed into his $70,000 car.
"Hi," I said, situating myself in the seat. "wow, really nice car you've got."
"She's a real beauty isn't she?" he said, patting his dashboard. I could tell that he was proud of it.
"Yeah.." I answered.
"So, I was thinking we could go over to the park that's about a minute away from your house. My aunt's home, and I don't think we should disturb whatever she's up to. Besides, it's close enough so that you're not gone from your house too long."
"Oh, well okay. we can do that then." I said.
We drove over there in silence, mostly because I had no idea at all how to start the conversation about the kiss.
He parked by the sign that said
"PERSONS PROHIBITED IN PARK PAST 10:00 PM"
"Uh oh," Niall looked over at me, "guess we're breaking the rules." he smirked.
The look he gave me caused me to blush. His lip ring caused a reflection from the light outside, and his smile was just perfect.
"Um, yeah. Guess we are." I smiled back at him.
We both got out of the car and headed over to the playground, and climbed to the top to sit.
I watched as he climbed the equipment with ease, and I straggled after him. I had a difficult time climbing the ladder, and so Niall offered me his hand to pull me up.
I smiled and grabbed his hand. it was warm and it almost made me want to hold onto it even longer because of the source of comfort it made me feel.
I got to the top and let go of his hand to sit down.
"Thanks," I smiled at him, pulling hair behind my ear.
"No problem, Bailie," He said, scooting closer to me. "so about that thing that happened the other day.."
