Chapter 3: You will be more chill

"He is scaming you." Michael said as he plugged in the game.

"Totally." Jared chimed in.

"What if he's not.." I whispered.

"GAMES READY!"

We all had controllers and the game started

"Is this going to be Bl-Bl-Bloodly?"

"Yep." Michael smiled.

"I'm good." Evan said as he scooted away from the controller.

"Jeremy if he if he saying the truth. What if those make him crazy. I am not getting Evan anywhere to them." Connor growled as he pulled Evan closer.

"It's not.. They arnt drugs. It's technology that goes in your brain. It helps you to be cool and chill. Besides. He said he has a supply at payless and he has one free one."

"No. Jeremy. Why would you want one!?" Michael asked a little annoyed.

I rolled my eyes. "To be cool!"

"Would you be to cool for m-video games?" He mumbled.

"Michael. You know that you are my favorite person, that doesn't mean that I can't still dream."

"is it really true..im your faworite person?" Michael said as he scooted and batted his eyes

"oh my god. Yeah. We're never not gonna be a team."

"I still ship." Jared said smugly.

Everyone rolled his eyes and clicked play on the game.

After screaming and one range quit we beat the first way I signed.

"Why not we just go to payless ourselves and see..If his story checks out after school tomorrow once I get back from rehearsal?"

"Fine Jeremy. Go ahead. But you are not letting evan get one got it?" Connor said protectively

I nodded and noticed Jared rolled his eyes and then pulled out his phone looking at it.

"Well I uh need to go." he said as he shoved his phone back in his pocket and stood up.

"Aw it's been an hour only." Michael frowned.

"Yeah. Blame parents. My are super overprotective." He chuckled.

"Need a ride?" Connor asked.

"Nah it's fine."

"You'll walk?"

"Yeh. My house isn't that far from heere."

"Jared you did not." I groaned.

"Indeed I did."

"See you tomorrow!" Michael said

He waved and started walking up the basement stairs

"Wait Jared!" I yelled after him.

"Yeah?" he stopped and turned around.

"When we saw rich he said you were crying in the bathroom after lunch.. "

"What?" Michael said just as confused as Connor.

"Are you ok?" I asked worried.

Jared smiled and rolled his eyes. "I'm fine. That was probably another sad kid crying."

Evan was standing up and walking to Jared.

"Are you sure you-you-you- are ok?"

"Stop caring so much ev. Now I really need to go. My parents will be mad if im not home by a certain time."
