Chapter Ten

Spencer is questioning Toby's behavior. He is being very secretive. She decides to confront him.

(This conversation will happen TWICE! It's on purpose. One for each point of view)

Spencer POV

Toby walks through the door and kisses Spencer on the forehead.

Spencer: I need to talk to you.
Toby: this sounds serious, what's going on?
Spencer: I was hoping maybe you would tell me...
I am very nervous for his response. Maybe he is questioning us...
Toby: Spencer...
Spencer: are you questioning us?
Toby: I—
Spencer: do you not want to be with me?
Toby: sp-
Spencer: what did I do wrong? I'm s—
Toby: SPENCER!
Spencer: what?
I am on the verge of tears. I'm scared for his response.
Toby: you need to calm down.
Toby wraps his arm around me and I lean back onto his chest.
Spencer: do you want to be with me?
Toby: honey, of course I do. That's all I've ever wanted in my entire life.
Spencer: then why have you been so distant?
Toby: come with me.
Spencer: can't you tell me now?
Toby: it's better if I show you.
Spencer: fine.

A/N: ugh guys I'm so sorry this is so short. I'm having a tough time right now, and I've had a lot going on because it's my birthday on Tuesday, (March 20!) so I've been very busy. And school is crazy. I have like 5 tests this week so I figured I should update a short chapter now rather than you all wait another 2 weeks for another chapter. I'm so sorry.
