A/N: hey guys! It's great to be back! I've been home for about a week now.

Previously on One True Love

Toby: I want to marry your daughter Mr and Mrs Hastings.

And now...

Peter: Toby, you have literally been with my daughter for 9 months.
Toby: she is the love of my life and we were together for years!!!
Veronica: you have broken her heart before. Who says you won't do it again?!
Toby: hurting her is the biggest regret of my life! I promise, I'll never hurt her.
Veronica: you're right Toby. You can marry Spencer.
Peter: absolutely not!
Veronica: Peter...
Peter: what?!
Veronica: He makes our daughter happy!
Peter: She isn't even your daughter, Veronica.
Toby: I'm gonna go...
Peter: oh no you're not! You wouldn't dare propose because I wouldn't attend the wedding.

Toby now has tears in his eyes and leaves the house. He gets into his truck and drives to Ezra and Aria's apartment.

-At Ezra and Aria's-

*Toby knocks on the door* his face is still red with tears in his eyes.

Ezra: *opens the door* come on in man! What's up?
Toby: Is Aria here?
Ezra: yeah, hold on. I'll go get her.

Ezra: hey can you come out here for a sec?
Aria: yeah sure, what's going on?
Ezra: Toby's here!
Aria: is Spencer here?
Ezra: no...

Aria: hey Toby what's up?
Toby: can you call everyone else?
Aria: yeah sure...

5 minutes later everyone is there and Hanna being 9 months pregnant looks like she is going to pop any second.

Hanna: okay, what's going on?
Toby: I got an engagement ring for Spencer.
Aria: Oh my god! Whe-
Toby: I can't propose...
Ezra: why not?
Toby: I asked for her parents permission and her father said no. He said if I propose he won't attend the wed-

Hanna: Caleb we have to go!!!
Caleb: What, why?!
Hanna: the baby is coming, that's why!!!

Toby: I have to call Spencer to cancel.
