Yoongi's POV:
My body was more tense than usual when sitting on the musty cushioned couch. Ever since Jungkook left to find survivors and supplies, I've been sitting on the couch wasting my youth away while drinking a grape soda that's almost a week over due. I just couldn't bring myself to think about the outside world that is no longer corrupted with people but with things.
Then my mind switched paths to the parents I loved so dearly, "I wonder if they found a place that's safe..."
I cuddled a pillow close to my body letting sleep envelop me for the second time that day, but I wasn't sleeping for long...
There were faint footsteps inching closer, "I must be dreaming...", I whispered half asleep.
The footsteps suddenly stopped, filling the room with an eerie silence. I opened my eyes with the pillow still in my grasp, looking back at the door to see no one.
"I must be going crazy...", I laughed softly to myself.
I turned back to face the coffee table in front of the couch when a cold slender hand touched my shoulder, "BOO!", a not so familiar voice broke the silence.
My body jumped at his chilling touch, "WHAT THE HELL?!"
I stood up on end like I was frozen by the coldness that invaded my body while carrying an angry smile.
"No one disturbs my sleep...", my throat made a low growl.
The orange haired guy let's out a small chuckle only to gulp down spit by my intimidating expression seconds later.
"I was bored", the guy fixed the collar of his rainbow shirt with a shade of red spreading all over his cheeks.
"Do what?!", the boiling anger swallowed my patience as I grabbed his arm and pinned him to the lime green wall. He struggled to remove my hand from his arm, "Please...let go! I'm sorry!"
However his punishment ended when a blonde woman came into the room gawking.
"Hoseok! What is going on here?!", she brought her arms between us and effortlessly pulled my grip away from him.
The guy named Hoseok rubbed his arm in pain while blankly staring at the woman.
I snapped a glare in her direction only for her to shrug it off.
"Let's go Hoseok! You shouldn't be messing around with arrogant people like him!", the woman took ahold of Hoseok's right ear and pulled him out of the room like they were siblings.
"At least I don't have a woman sucking the energy out of me!", my voice echoed through the hollow walls.Hours Past———-
Still no sign of Jungkook...
I softly took in a deep breath, fearing the worst was happening while I'm stuck in this strange place.Jungkook lays abandoned on the city streets with his insides down the cannibal's throats. He shakes uncontrollably till he takes his last breath at the time the sun decides to come out from the clouds wanting to know how the world has fallen off into a dark abyss.
I never realized tears escaped my eyes until I heard a comforting voice, "Are you crying Yoongi?"
I whipped my head towards the door to see Jungkook standing with his gun by his side.
"Junnnggggkkkkooookkk!!!!", my arms reached out to hug him with the call from my heart.
"Woah.. Yoongi? Did you miss me that badly?", Jungkook asked with a shy smile.
"I did...CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW BORED I WAS?!", he lightly shook Jungkook's shoulders.
"Okay Yoongi...I understand...", he responded with a smirk as I wiped what was left of my tears. I didn't dare want to look at the swollen monster that had devoured my beautiful face."Um sir?", a small angelic voice erupted from behind them.
Jungkook turned around with Yoongi still clinging onto him to see a fragile boy.
"I haven't seen you before", Yoongi said to the boy awkwardly.
"What's wrong? My name is Jungkook by the way", I replied while scanning his muscled figure.
"You should check on him...", he faced the ground and walked back.
"Check on who?", Yoongi pulled away from the hug.
"It's Namjoon, he passed out because of dehydration, I'll be back...", I said trailing off into the hallways that resembled a maze. I walked into a room with graffiti staining the walls and Namjoon's body on a cushioned mattress.
Namjoon's eyes slowly opened to look up at the plain ceiling.
"You're up?", I bent down to touch his narrow forehead.
"What happened?", he rubbed in between his eyes.
"You passed out because of serious dehydration...", I replied scooting the sac of food and water beside the mattress.
"I can't..we must savor everything", Namjoon pushed the sac away.
"Come on Namjoon, You have to survive...", I grabbed a water bottle and a bowl of prepared noodles from the sac.
He looked down at the food and smiled to himself.
"Where's the food!", Hoseok skipped into the room like a child receiving candy.
I used my body as a shield and hid the food but that wasn't enough to keep him from taking it.
Namjoon laughed to himself at the sight of Hoseok's attitude but soon stopped when he heard crying.
"Who's crying?", he asked sitting up from the mattress.
"I'll go look", I replied while getting up off the floor.
My hand leaned against the doorframe while I gazed down the dark hallways to see a silhouette.
The silhouette slid down to the floor unable to stop crying.
"Are you alright?", I asked the person crying.
"Is he alright?", the man answered with a sniffle.
"Yes he's alright...", I gave him a smile before waving for him to come.
Soon the figure made its way towards Namjoon's room and hesitantly peeked inside. While it seemed like the whole community surrounded Namjoon, there were a few people that decided to stay in their less comfortable spots where they learned to call home during humanity's abrupt ending.
