Standing behind the crowd is a girl with a broken smile watching the people she loves socializing among themselves. The room was filled with joyful chatting yet thick tension settles in the room as the girl fades farther and farther into the background.

A chime silences the chatting, a gentle voice following,"Find a seat, we shall start." As the room organizes itself, the girl could see a table with picture frame with a candles beside it. The frame held a picture of her smiling brightly at the camera, the photo bringing a tense silence. "We are here today to honor our charished lost one...," a woman says as she stands beside the table with tears shimmering in her eyes.

"I'm right here...," the girl calls out to deaf ears. Pain in her heart cripple her, sending to the ground as if it was pulling her towards it. Unheard screams call out for help, pain in her head with her death moment clear in mind. Longing for love breaks the dam that holds her ghost tears, rolling down her tranlucent cheeks. "Please! Someone hear me!" she calls out again as she hears the prayers begin with sniffles. Her fingers claw at her chest, the pain stabbing her heart with a thousand knives.

Gentle hands take her hands, holding them to the unfamilar chest. "Hey...what's wrong, miss?" a heavily accented, husky voice calls out to her, "Why do tears cloud such beautiful eyes?" She looks up, a new face gracing her vision. Her hands shakily reach for his cheek, settling on warm ghostly flesh. He smiles, leaning into her touch, "You've yet to answer my question, love."

"O-Oh...," she stutters, looking towards her family gathered. He follows where she's looking at, realization shaking his senses. Slowly, the man helps her to her feet and leads her out the house. He too was one of the dead, although he had long accepted the reality and made a life for himself in the world of the afterlife, occationally visiting his daughter.

"It's time to move on to the next life," he says softly, wiping her tears as they walk though the door into the afterlife. The world around them was bright and colorful. They turn from translucent ghostlike characters to a more human appearence. "Come along now, you'll enjoy a new life," he murmurs as he pulls her into a hug, "there's so much to look forward to, even after death."

She shakes her head, clinging onto his shirt while listening to his breathing,"What's the use...I'm not with my family...with the people I love." She looks at him with the same tear-filled eyes. Her crystal blue eyes pierce into his soul, taking away his breath. "The man I loved left me...I only had my family...," her voice was muffled as she spoke into his chest.
