Starless Night

I watch the sky, purples, pink, and oranges paint the sky as the moon begins its rule. Stars lay at rest, the night sky a navy blue. My body lays restless in this bed, in this cold white room. A pain ripples through my body, causing screams and for my eyes to tear away from the window. Once again, I'm met with darkness and a chilling numbness. Lights move slow in my mind, movement slows down to a stop in time. I see a man in white standing over my body, worry contorting his face. I touch his face and slowly move away, drifting in the ripples of what we call time. Moving away from my own body, I move to the window and stare at the frozen picture. The sky is dark,  the moon and the stars hidden beneath  the darkness.  I can only hope to see again, the world i knew before I was sentence to eternal suffering.
